ELASTOSIL® M silicone rubber has been the ideal solution for the production of molds that are highly elastic and have excellent release properties and optimum durability. These invaluable processing properties make ELASTOSIL® M indispensable, to both industrial and artisan mold makers.

ELASTOSIL® M

SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

WACKER’s CAVAQ10® is a highly bioavailable coenzyme Q10 powder. This fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance is a known antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 has been associated with improved cardiovascular health and supporting optimum fuctioning of the cardiac muscle. However, many commercial products do not offer adequate bioavailability. WACKER’s cyclodextrin-encapsulated CAVAQ10® powder, by contrast, has an 18-fold higher bioavailability compared to other CoQ10 products.

CAVAMAX® is the trade name for cyclodextrins from WACKER. We are the only company in the world to manufacture all three naturally occurring cyclodextrins – α, β and γ (CAVAMAX® W6, W7 and W8). CAVAMAX® cyclodextrins have unique properties resulting in a wide range of functionalities, such as stabilization, rheology control, masking of bitterness or increasing bioavailability and much more. This paves the way for innovative food, pharma and industrial applications.

BELSIL® is an extensive range of premium-grade silicones intended specifically for personal care applications, and more especially for hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, and deodorants. BELSIL® products are developed and manufactured in the highest quality and with utmost care, ensuring that the formulations are highly efficient and reliable. With BELSIL®, you can tailor your hair-care or skin-care formulations or color cosmetics to obtain end products that are not only competitive but also meet the needs of the market.

CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin complex that is around 40 times more efficiently absorbed than standard turmeric extract. The complexation with the naturally occurring oligasaccharide gamma-cyclodextrin results in a free-flowing, easily dispersible powder.

WACKER® AK 500 is a linear, non-reactive polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of approximately 500 mm²/s. Its chemical structure imparts exceptional properties that distinguish it from organic materials like mineral oils. WACKER® AK 500 exhibits excellent dielectric properties, low surface tension resulting in high surface activity, and a high degree of chemical inertness. These characteristics make it well-suited for various applications where these specific properties are required.

BELSIL® OW 2100 DE is a copolymer consisting of polydimethylsiloxane and organic glycol. This product exhibits excellent compatibility with a diverse range of cosmetic ingredients, including water and alcohol, and remains stable in water-based systems. With a calculated HLB of 12, BELSIL® OW 2100 DE can provide exceptional conditioning effects at low dosage levels in formulations.

ELASTOSIL® Color Paste FL Ochre Brown RAL 8001 is a ready-to-use masterbatch that contains specific pigments and reactive silicone polymers. It is commonly used for producing ELASTOSIL® liquid silicone rubber. This color paste enables homogeneous covulcanization without significantly affecting the physical properties, such as hardness, and without the risk of migration often seen in systems based on silicone oil.

ELASTOSIL® R Plus 4305/70 is a two-component, high-consistency silicone rubber specifically developed for the manufacture of extruded articles. Cured articles made from this addition-curing rubber exhibit excellent transparency and demonstrate good to very good mechanical properties. This fast-curing silicone rubber displays good to very good mechanical properties. The vulcanization reaction is significantly faster compared to peroxide-curing materials, thanks to the addition cure process. Additionally, no peroxide decomposition products are formed during vulcanization.

SILFAR® SE 88 is a silicone antifoam emulsion suitable for various industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, fermentation processes, and agrochemical formulations. It is specifically designed for European use as a processing aid in food production, based on E 900. It is important for the food manufacturer to ensure that only minimal traces of the product are present in the final food, as per the necessary regulations.

WACKER® L 067 is a superspreading surfactant based on trisiloxane technology. Due to its unique structure, WACKER® L 067 exhibits high surface activity, allowing it to effectively wet and spread on almost any hydrophobic surface. It has versatile applications, including use as a tank-side adjuvant to improve spray coverage and uptake, or to reduce spray volume. It can also serve as an adjuvant in agrochemical formulations.

ELASTOSIL® S 699 A/B is a slightly self-leveling, 2-part silicone rubber used for molding applications. It is addition-curing and quickly cures at elevated temperatures, resulting in a permanently flexible and low-density vulcanizate that can be easily ground. Vulcanized ELASTOSIL® S 699 A/B offers excellent long-term stability against weathering, moisture, heat, and sunlight. The cured silicone rubber can endure constantly changing climatic conditions, sunlight, and temperatures as high as 200°C (392°F) without damage.

SILPURAN® 6000/20 A/B is a paste-like, easily pigmentable two-component compound with short curing times. Its vulcanizates are noted for their high transparency and excellent mechanical and electrical properties. SILPURAN® 6000/20 A/B is designed for medical applications in compliance with the Wacker Silicones Health Care Policy, including implantation for less than 30 days.

VINNAPAS® EZ 123 is an aqueous polymer dispersion of vinyl acetate and ethylene specifically designed for applications in the nonwovens market. It is produced without the use of plasticizers or APEO surfactants. This dispersion possesses a nonionic character and provides high dry tensile strength, resulting in a fuller and stiffer hand feel to nonwoven webs. It can be formulated with various chemistries, including cationic, anionic, or nonionic, to create specialized nonwovens. Additionally, VINNAPAS® EZ 123 is a low-odor dispersion with formaldehyde levels of less than 50 ppm.
