VINNEX® is WACKER’s trade name for a polyvinyl acetate-based additive system for compatibilizing different biopolymers with one another, so allowing a new generation of bioplastics to be formulated. Moreover, VINNEX® simplifies processing by traditional methods.

WACKER SilGel® comprises highly transparent, silicone rubber compounds that cure to form silicone gels. They stand out due to their low viscosity and strong inherent tack, often rendering a primer or adhesion promoter superfluous. All products can be fully automatically processed in mixing and metering units, and are ideal for efficient mass production. WACKER SilGel® products are addition-curing, RTV-2-silicone elastomers that cure both at room temperature and at higher temperatures.

SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

ELASTOSIL® R solid silicone rubber grades are peroxide-curing. They can be processed by conventional methods, such as extrusion, calendering, compression and transfer molding, or injection molding. They cure in heat and are ideal for manufacturing a variety of silicone rubber articles.

Products of the POWERSOFT® range are highly concentrated and highly effective building blocks in your softener formulations. The products of this brand offer you all the advantages of conventional aminosilicone emulsions. Moreover, you can choose between micro and macro emulsion concentrates, depending on your individual softness requirements.

CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin complex that is around 40 times more efficiently absorbed than standard turmeric extract. The complexation with the naturally occurring oligasaccharide gamma-cyclodextrin results in a free-flowing, easily dispersible powder.

GENIOPLAST® from WACKER are silicone-based additives and production aids for both standard thermoplastics and engineering plastics. GENIOPLAST® pellets and GENIOPLAST® additives for wood plastic composites (WPCs) enhance processes and products in the melt-processing industry.

The SILRES® brand comprises a wide range of silicones for coatings, paints and construction applications. The portfolio has been developed and continuously improved since the 1950's when the first silicone resins for building protection originated in WACKER laboratories. It features not only time-tested and innovative products, but also tailored solutions for a host of applications, climates and substrates. And it is supported by a range of extensive services available from our technical centers worldwide which provide further customization and customer-specific options.

HELISOL® heat transfer fluids make an important contribution to the efficient transfer of heat. Heat accounts for around two thirds of industrial energy needs and almost one fifth of total global energy consumption. HELISOL® heat transfer fluids may be used in a broad variety of different applications: in wood and metal processing, oil refineries, chemical, polymer and other industries, as well as in solar thermal applications.

FERMOPURE® is WACKER’s brand name for natural L-cystine and vegan L-cysteine. In 2018, the production of L-cystine – the starting material for L-cysteine – was transferred to a new site in León, Spain. Due to their entirely plant-based and inorganic source materials, WACKER cystine and cysteine are purely vegan. They are ideal for use in food and pharmaceutical products.

The SILMIX® brand name stands for high-quality silicone rubber compounds developed precisely in accordance with the requirements of the individual customer, compounded and delivered as ready to use materials. WACKER’s SILMIX® sites in the NAFTA region, Europe and Asia allow for a regionally specific orientation to local requirements accompanied by the support of our Technical Centers.

The VINNEVA® brand comprises a range of polymer-based dispersions for the modification of bitumen emulsions. The dispersions are usually post-added to the bitumen emulsions.

SIPELL® range products add a broad range of properties to your individual formulations for the leather industry. They include optimizing durability, improving the feel and even making the leather permanently water repellent. The SIPELL® product range offers an extremely wide spectrum of effects for all applications: automotive, furniture and clothing leathers, shoe uppers and accessories.

PULPSIL® products are silicone-based defoamers. PULPSIL® provides pulp and paper manufacturers with efficient pulp defoamers for optimizing their various process steps and product quality. PULPSIL® silicones not only control foam but also speed up dewatering and improve pulp washing. PULPSIL®silicones can thereby form part of a more profitable and environmentally friendly pulp manufacture – they increase production capacities, reduce water and energy consumption, reduce the amount of bleaching chemicals and improve pulp quality.

HDK® Pyrogenic silica is a mature product that WACKER has produced for over 50 years and is used by customers worldwide with great success. Thanks to our integrated production system with statistical process control and highly efficient reactor dynamics, we produce pyrogenic silica of exceptionally purity. ELASTOSIL® M silicone rubber has been the ideal solution for the production of molds that are highly elastic and have excellent release properties and optimum durability. These invaluable processing properties make ELASTOSIL® M indispensable, to both industrial and artisan mold makers.

Under the brand family GENIOSIL®, WACKER offers organofunctional silanes and innovative silane modified polymers for bonding and sealing. Their most outstanding property is the fact that they combine environmental advantages with performance benefits.

ELASTOSIL® LR liquid silicone rubber products are two-part silicone rubber grades which can be injection molded on fully automated machines without the need for secondary processing. They are generally platinum-curing and vulcanize under heat and pressure. As a rule, the A component contains the platinum catalyst while the B component consists of the crosslinker. They are ideal for high-volume manufacturing and so help to keep unit costs down.

POWERSIL® from WACKER is a portfolio of specialty silicones for power transmission and distribution. It also includes silicone fluids for transformers, and specialty silicone pastes. All POWERSIL® products meet the requisite product safety, quality and reliability demands imposed by the various applications, and are notable for their outstanding property profiles. POWERSIL® rubber grades confer lasting water repellency, resistance to leakage currents and erosion, and good low-temperature flexibility. This makes them ideal for harsh climates found in coastal and desert regions.

GENIOSIL® STP-E are silane-crosslinking organic polymers that combine properties typical of both silicones and polyurethanes. They are highly versatile yet easy and safe to use as they are isocyanate and solvent-free and  in case of the α-polymers  do not require tin-catalysts for curing.

WACKER’s CAVAQ10® is a highly bioavailable coenzyme Q10 powder. This fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance is a known antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 has been associated with improved cardiovascular health and supporting optimum fuctioning of the cardiac muscle. However, many commercial products do not offer adequate bioavailability. WACKER’s cyclodextrin-encapsulated CAVAQ10® powder, by contrast, has an 18-fold higher bioavailability compared to other CoQ10 products.

VINNACEL® is WACKER’s trademark for polymer binders that are supplied in the form of a complete additive solutions, tailored to specific customer needs. VINNACEL® products increase the adhesion, cohesion and long-term performance of cementitious systems in order to optimize the end application.

GENIOSIL® WP silane-modified polymers are the key to innovative waterproofing products, whose properties are comparable to those of polyurethane-based liquid waterproofing coatings. Thanks to its particularly low viscosity, GENIOSIL® WP is easy to formulate without the addition of solvents, plasticizers or tin catalysts.

ADVALON® products offer benefits at every stage, whether for fiber production, improving fiber properties or optimizing processes. DEHESIVE® products are tailored to applications and have a successful track record of over 30 years of use around the world as silicone release coatings for paper and film. GENIOPERL® from WACKER offers nanoscale structures for modifying polymers and coatings. The products are very efficient to process and, thanks to their high compatibility in selected matrix systems, form nanometer to micrometer-sized structures when incorporated. They thus optimize the end properties of the matrix systems.

LUMISIL® products are silicone solutions for high-performance LEDs. The LUMISIL® product range consists of high-performance silicones designed to meet the most exacting demands in the fields of LED production, secondary optics and lighting technology. LUMISIL® products all offer compelling properties: they support highly efficient, low-cost production and feature optimized flow and crosslinking behavior as well as high light resistance.
