Sunspheres™ 200 Nm are optically clear, solid fused amorphous microspheres designed for use in a wide variety of coatings, inks, adhesives, powder coatings, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These sub-micron sized spheres can be used to improve physical and mechanical properties including reduced shrinkage, improved adhesion, impact resistance, and enhanced surface qualities such as hardness, mar and scratch resistance. The average particle size is 200 nanometers and range in size from about 50 nm to 500 nm.

West System 410-B Microlight, 4 lb is the ideal low-density filler for creating a light, easily-worked fairing compound especially suited for fairing large areas. Microlight mixes with greater ease than 407 Low-Density filler or microballoons and is approximately 30% easier to sand. It feathers to a fine edge and is also more economical for large fairing jobs. Not recommended under dark paint or other surfaces subject to high temperatures. Cures to a tan color. When West System® epoxy is thickened to a peanut butter consistency with Microlight™, the cured product sands and carves like basswood.

West System 403-28 Microfibers, 20 oz is a fine fiber blend. Use it to thicken epoxy blended resin/hardener and create a multi-purpose adhesive. It’s most popular use is for bonding wood. Epoxy thickened with microfibers has good gap-filling qualities but will still do an excellent job of wetting-out/penetrating into wood fibers. You can blend it into any WEST SYSTEM 105 Resin/20X Hardener combination, G/flex Epoxy 650, or G/5 Five-Minute Adhesive. Blended with epoxy, it will cure to an off-white color.

Geotex® 30-200 is a high purity, granular calcium carbonate produced from a high brightness marble deposit in Georgia with a controlled particle distribution. The controlled particle distribution allows G30-200 to be used as a texturizing agent, in plaster, EIFS, in abrasives, and PVC flooring.

MILLISIL® is for industrial use, mighty, workable silica sand deposits are of decisive importance. Nevertheless, chemical purity and constancy are not enough in order to apply silica directly as a raw material. In Quarzwerke plants silica sands are thoroughly prepared. The raw material has to pass exten-sive cleaning-, classification-, drying- and iron-free grinding processes in order to produce silica sands, flours and powders. For the production of silica flours and -powders with a defined grain size distribution separation processes are required in addition to iron-free grinding. Quarzwerke are able to produce silica powders with grain sizes down to 1 μm due to a fine-tuned combination of grind- and classification technology. Another refining step is the surface-treatment with silanes or silan-based substances which can be adjusted to the respective application.
