Arnitel TPC, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, is used as a lighter, smarter, greener material alternative to conventional rubbers. Because of its excellent characteristics, it offers design engineers exceptional flexibility—giving them the freedom to implement the most innovative product concepts.  Arnitel has a broad range of hardnesses, making it capable to replace rubbers, metals, leather and other thermoplastics. This thermoplastic elastomer delivers superior chemical resistance, along with heat and wear resistance, plus the ability to be recycled.

SilTRUST* Silicone - Leveraging our successful development of silicone products for spacecraft and satellite solar arrays, Momentive has created the SilTRUST family of silicone products for terrestrial solar applications. This full line of encapsulants, adhesives, sealants and potting materials is engineered to endure the harsh environments in which solar panels operate, while generally improving the light-to-electricity conversion yield. These properties, plus greater general stress resistance, weatherability, corrosion protection, a longer life span and higher efficiency for crystalline silicone photovoltaic (PV) modules may potentially lead to a better return on investment and lower production costs for solar energy products.

Lay-Flat™ tubing can be extruded from multiple polymers including FEP, PE, PEEK, as well as others upon request. Lay-Flat™ tubing allows thin walled tubing to be shipped in long continuous lengths on spools without kinking and be processed in downstream manufacturing more easily. Lay-Flat™ tubing's compact form simplifies shipping and can be used in various applications that require an added layer of protection. For example the energy industry utilizes PEEK Lay-Flat™ tubing that is further cut and formed as slot liners and phase insulation for advanced motor insulation. The PEEK Lay-Flat™ tubing is rated at 260 °C. PEEK Lay-Flat™ is chemicaly resistant and can replace traditional Nomex® materials for higher performance motor applications.

Paracril NBR grades are produced by cold and hot polymerization process. The cold process yields linear polymers with good processing characteristics and solubility in polar solvents. The hot polymerization process leads to more branching. Branching in the hot Paracril grades is more developed in the higher viscosity grades. The hot polymers offer improved green strength. &rosslinNed 3aracril N%5 grades are unique in processing and function.

Polyimide (PI) is a group of high performing polymers known for their exceptional chemical, thermal, and mechanical performance properties. These materials demonstrate exceptional thermal stability in high and low temperatures and are extremely flame resistant. PI Glide™, our PI / PTFE composite, is a high lubricity polyimide blend for applications that require lower surface friction yet do not require the performance of pure PTFE. PI Glide™ maintains broad chemical resistance and good dielectric properties in addition to its reduced coefficient of friction. PI Glide™ is available in tubing and as a coating for over-the-wire (OTW, insulated wire) applications. For insulated wire, PI Glide™ provides a low-friction wire for easier deployment or insertion into tubing. With PI Glide™ tubing, inside diameters offer low resistance to inserted devices or tools (pushability) while the outside remains bondable without etching. PI Glide™ can also be produced in a layered composite construction with our conventional polyimide or with PI Glide™ alone. Composite layering polyimide and PI Glide™ allows users to further tailor polyimide tubing or coating properties.

The Cri-Line® compounds described in this site are fully formulated high performance compounds, developed, tested and guaranteed by Cri-Tech, Inc. These Product Selection pages will enable you to quickly locate compounds that meet your specifications. Compounds are grouped by product type/families. Among them are products for most major FKM end-use applications and manufacturing processes. Cri-Line® FKM compounds range from 50 to 95 durometer, 65% to 71% Fluorine, bisphenol or peroxide cure system, and specialty grades such as BRE (base resistant) and low temperature. Compounds are generally supplied in several standard colors, but can be customized to support any color program. A Cri-Line® compound that you have ordered will arrive at your receiving dock accompanied by a certificate of compliance (including test data) for the lot shipped and ready for immediate processing without further modification.

Santicizer® Plasticizers offer all the benefits of high solvating plasticizers including compatibility in multiple polymer systems such as Polysulfide, PVC and Polyurethane. Because of their high efficiency, less energy is required to fuse PVC formulations. These materials are well suited for plastisol applications, but can easily be used in almost any polymer system that requires additional flexibility and softness.
