DiTech AntiStat Fabric Softener C is a diamidoethyl (hydroxyethyl) ammonium methosulfate quaternary in a propylene glycol solvent. It has low volatile organic carbons and is produced from natural/vegetable-based soybean oil sources, thus making it ideal for use in consumer and I&I green-renewable formulations. It is used in finishing and drying process of textiles because it reduces the effects of exposure of ozone from the atmosphere. DiTech AntiStat Fabric Softener C is dispersible in warm water (>35°C), and with its easy-to-handle high solids, low odor and no solvent smell it provides excellent softening while imparting anti-static properties to fabrics. It gives a low degree of yellowing to fabric even at higher drying temperatures. DiTech AntiStat Fabric Softener C is notably good in its re-wet properties for fabrics compared to most other fabric softener concentrates, dramatically reducing the tendencies for œwaterproofing fabrics at higher softener dosage levels, a common problem with many other softeners currently in the market. MultiTech Difunctional A is a primary, saturated alcohol with defined branching of the carbon chain. Such alcohols are chemically described as 2-alkyl-1-alkanols and are also referred to as Guerbet alcohols. It is a high purity alcohol that offers excellent oxidative and color stability. Additionally, the twin, 100% linear alkyl branches of the MultiTech Difunctional A alcohol give it a lower viscosity and better biodegradability than dimer alcohols derived from oxo-alcohols. The unique chemical structure of MultiTech Difunctional A alcohol also provides good solubility and solvency.

Composite Materials Molding Compound B is an inorganic reinforced phenolic molding compound, offering excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability, and processability. Customers have found this material useful for automotive applications. It is not intended for electrical insulating applications. Composite Materials Molding Compound B is available in black.

DiTech Specialty Binder & Resin is a low molecular weight liquid polymer derived by the depolymerization of butyl rubber. It vulcanizes at either ambient or elevated temperature with the standard curatives for butyl rubber. DiTech Specialty Binder & Resin is light gray and contains no solvents or additives. DiTech Specialty Binder & Resin has the lower viscosity of the two DiTech Specialty Binder & Resin available and is the preferred liquid butyl rubber for coatings applications. Perfect for fast take offs, cores, engineering changes, temporary molds, patterns, models, prototypes, and bases for die models.Handling Properties:BCC's Lik-Wood is a fast-setting, two part casting system which requires careful preparation prior to mixing parts A and B. Because Lik-Wood contains components having very low density there will be some separation at the surface of the material in its container. Using a paint shaker, jiffy mixer, or mixing spatula, re-suspension of the ingredients is easily accomplished. Precaution should be taken to prevent any moisture contamination from containers or utensils. It is recommended that the work area be well ventilated and normal cleanliness and safety rules be observed. Avoid prolonged exposure to vapors and contact with skin.Preparation of Mold Surface:Clean the surface from dust and possible presence of moisture. Apply BC 87 Parting Agent and polish to a uniform high gloss finish (usually 2-3 coats are recommended). For wood surfaces, 2-3 coats of a high quality sanding sealer is necessary. For plaster surfaces, seal with PVC sealer to ensure complete absence of moisture. For both wood and plaster surfaces, follow with 2-3 coats of 87 Parting Agent.Mixing and Pouring:Pour weighed or measured amounts of Part A & B into a separate dry container by pouring Part A into Part B. Mix with a spatula or mechanical stirrer for 30-40 seconds for quart size batches or 40-50 seconds for gallon batches while avoiding air entrapment. Immediately pour mixed resin uninterrupted from a convenient height above the mold cavity to resist air bubble entrapment. Clean your mixing tools by rinsing in an alcohol type solvent. Larger masses (2 feet or more) may be built up with successive pours. Castings may be demolded within 30-60 minutes but should be properly supported while "green". Under normal conditions, maximum hardness or cure will be achieved in 12-18 hours.
