Cutina® CP is a cetyl palmitate fatty acid ester for use as an emollient. It is a consistency wax used for viscosity adjustment in O/W emulsions. It is used in baby care and cleansing products, antiperspirants and deodorants, body care, face care, etc.

Neutrol® TE is a neutralizing agent that is used for carbomer resins (e.g., in the production of gels). It is a clear, viscous liquid that is commonly used in baby care and cleansing, body care, face cleansing, hair coloring, shower/bath products, styling, etc.

Dehyquart® GUAR N is a conditioning agent for all kinds of opaque or pearlized rinse-off formulations. This conditioning polymer is derived from guar flour and is especially designed for rinse-off applications such as shampoos, hair treatments, and body cleansing products. It has a normal cationic guar quality.

Z-COTE® LSA is an inorganic, broad-spectrum sunscreen filter with excellent photo-stability. Eumulgin® CO 60 is a nonionic O/W emulsifier and/or solubilizer that is used to produce aqueous cosmetic preparations such as solubilisates and tonics. As a solubilizer, it is suitable for all kinds of O/W skincare emulsions. It is supplied as a white, lard-like fat mass with a mild odor.

Eumulgin® L is a solubilizer used for water and water/alcohol-based cosmetic preparations. It appears as a clear, slightly turbid, light yellow liquid with a distinctive odor. It is composed of fatty alcohol alkoxylate. Z-COTE® LSA UC is an inorganic, broad-spectrum sunscreen filter with excellent photostability. Its physical characteristics enable the creation of elegant and gentle formulations, and it is ideal for baby care, daily wear, and sensitive skin. Z-COTE is naturally derived, allowing companies and formulators to make a “natural” claim which is of growing importance and interest in the overall marketplace. Eumulgin® S 2 is an ethoxylated stearyl alcohol for use as a nonionic emulsifier in various O/W skin care emulsions. It is especially suitable for O/W antiperspirant roll-ons. This product is supplied as a white solid with a faint characteristic odor.

BASF D-Panthenol 50P is an active ingredient that improves the appearance of skin, hair, and nails. It is ideal for deeply penetrating moisturizers. Its applications include skin care, cleanser, sun care, mother and baby products, hair care, shampoo and conditioner, bath and body products, hand and foot care, personal care, men's beard care, antiperspirants and deodorants, and oral care.

BASF Bisabolol rac is a versatile cosmetic active ingredient that is commonly used in various personal care applications such as skin care, oral care, sun care, and AP/deo products. Its primary function is as an anti-inflammatory agent, making it an effective ingredient for products that aim to soothe and calm the skin.

Plantapon® SUS is an anionic surfactant for cosmetic cleansing preparations, such as shower and bath products, liquid soaps, and facial cleansers. It is composed of disodium C12-18 alkyl sulfosuccinate and appears as a white to light yellowish powder with a characteristic odor.

Cremophor® RH 410 is a nonionic multipurpose solubilizer and emulsifying agent that is used to solubilize ethereal oils, perfume compositions, vitamins, and hydrophobic active substances in aqueous-alcoholic and purely aqueous solutions. The finished preparations are particularly stable. This product shows little tendency to foam, which is particularly important for solutions in aqueous ethanol. Further foam suppression can be obtained by adding a small amount of defoamer.

Cetiol® C 5C is a fast-spreading emollient that is designed as a good alternative to volatile silicones like cyclomethicone with the same light, silky feel. Clear, colorless, and skin-friendly, it supports the incorporation of powders and enhances the solubility of crystalline UV filters. It is approved by COSMOS, NATURE, ECOCERT, BDIH, and NPA, and is biodegradable and 100% derived from natural, renewable feedstocks.

Cetiol® J 600 is a slow-spreading emollient that gives a luxurious, long-lasting feel on the skin. It is a clear, slightly yellowish, polar oil with a weak odor and a mean molecular weight. This emollient is used in antiperspirants and deodorants, after-sun products, body care, face care, and shower/bath products.

Hispagel® Oil LV can primarily be used as a lubricant, sensory modifier, and moisturizing agent due to its rheological properties, water solubility, and hydration capacity. Hispagel® Oil LV is commonly used in cosmetic products for skin care and hair treatment.

Emulgade® A 6 is a non-ionic cream base used to make various O/W emulsions. It consists of cetyl stearyl alcohol with 6 mol EO and stearyl alcohol, and appears as a whitish waxy substance. This cream base can be used for various applications, such as after sun treatments, antiperspirants and deodorants, baby care and cleansing, body care, color care, face care, face cleansing, hair coloring, self-tanning and sun protection.

Tinogard® TT is a phenolic antioxidant used to stabilize oxidant-sensitive cosmetic formulations and ingredients. It protects fragrances, oils, fats, and other oxygen-sensitive ingredients from degradation during processing, handling, and storage, thus preserving product performance and providing a long shelf life.

Eumulgin® B 25 (NA) is a cosmetic-grade oil-in-water emulsifier that is used to produce ointments, creams, liquid emulsions, gels, and other cosmetic formulations. They are supplied in the form of free-flowing, non-dusting micro-granules that dissolve in water and alcohol to form either a colloid or a clear solution. Eumulgin® B 25 (NA) is soluble in vegetable and mineral fats and oils. The warm emulsifiers can be mixed with mineral, vegetable, and synthetic fats and oils, as well as with fatty alcohols, fatty acids, mono- and di-stearates, and polyethylene glycols. Creams and lotions can be formulated easily with this product, and they are very efficient protective colloid systems that can increase the stability of dispersed systems.

Plantapon® LGC Sorb is an anionic surfactant that combines the characteristic mildness of APG® with excellent foaming and sensory properties, making it especially suitable for use in mild rinse-off applications. Applications for this product include body wash, face wash, liquid hand soap, shampoo, baby care, and sensitive skin care. This product has an active matter of 28.5-34.0%, a pH value of 5.5-6.5%, and a water content of 62.0-67.0%.

Dehyton® PK 45 is an amphoteric surfactant that is suitable for universal application in cosmetic and pharmaceutical surfactant preparations. When combined with anionic surfactants, synergistic effects are achieved, resulting in a dermatological improvement of the consumer product. Its application properties are comparable to those of conventional cocamidopropyl betaine types.

Lamesoft® Balance by BASF is a biodegradable, efficient stabilizer for rinse-off products. It stabilizes wax dispersions in cleaning products for skin and hair. This product can be processed cold and is easy to formulate. It exhibits a structure-improving effect to stabilize wax-based opacifiers, even in low-viscosity formulations. This product offers an appealing, uniform rheology in the finished product. It prevents the aggregation of fine wax particles and reduces the sedimentation speed in surfactant systems, especially in micellar thickeners. It improves the foam-forming properties of body cleansing products and hair conditioning in shampoo formulations with cationic conditioning agents. Lamesoft® Balance makes the skin feel pleasant. Plantasil® Micro is a silicone-free conditioning booster for rinse-off formulations. It works in combination with cationic polymers and anionic surfactants. This product is environmentally friendly, easy to formulate, and an economical alternative to silicone. It has the ability to develop transparent formulations and is EO- and silicone-free. This product is cold-processable, easy to use, readily biodegradable, and 100% naturally derived.

Cetiol® LDO is a pure emollient and a universal lipid. It is a pumpable, liquid compound that is clearly soluble in surfactant systems without using a pre-dilution step or solubilizer. It is therefore suitable for clear, opaque, and pearlescent personal care surfactant-based cleansers. Combability and the feel of wet and dry hair are substantially improved, and the lipid deposition increases torsional properties, which provide more elasticity and hair strength.

Cegesoft® SH is an exotic, waxy emollient with a melting temperature near to skin temperature. It improves the body of skincare formulations, leaving a silky, non-lubricating velvety feeling on skin, and improves wet and dry combability of hair when used in shampoos. It is a waxy solid with a bland odor.

Dehymuls® PGPH is used as a water-in-oil emulsifier for the preparation of low-viscous water-in-oil emulsions. In combination with Lameform® TGI and/or Monomuls® 90-O 18, W/O creams can be formulated that contain greater fractions of high molecular oils, e.g., vegetable oils. It is a yellow, turbid, opaque, and viscous liquid with a slightly fatty characteristic odor. Dehymuls® PGPH is flexible in use with ethanol and emollients, independent of emollients, and cold-processable.

Neutrol® MGDA is a highly stable, eco-friendly complexing agent (also called a chelating agent) for personal care applications. This is BASF’s Care Creations®, which is readily biodegradable and stands out due to its excellent ecological and toxicological profile. Complexing agents are used in cosmetic products to form very stable complexes with metal ions, thereby inactivating their negative influences on the final formulation.

Luvigel® EM gives a fresh and cooling feel during application, followed by a non-tacky and chalky after-feel. Additionally, it offers good thickening and stabilizing effects and can also give a whiter and shinier aspect to formulations. The product is free of preservatives, suitable for cold processing, and can be added at any stage of the formulation process.

Emulgade® SE-PF is a self-emulsifying base with consistency-giving properties, suited for the preparation of cosmetic and pharmaceutical oil-in-water creams and lotions. It has high emollient flexibility and good electrolyte stability. It is a mixture of consistency-giving factors and nonionic emulsifiers, appearing as white to slightly yellowish pellets with a faint characteristic odor.

Plantaren® 1200 N UP is an alkyl polyglucoside (APG®) surfactant that is in a unique class of non-ionic surfactants obtained from renewable, plant-derived raw materials. It is made from natural, renewable, plant-derived feedstocks and is readily biodegradable. Applications for this product include body wash, face wash, liquid hand soap, shampoo, sensitive skin care, and wipes. This product has a pasty appearance, with an active substance content of 48-55%.

Cosmedia® SPL is a liquid emulsifying polymer with stabilizing, thickening as well as emulsifying properties for personal care emulsions. It has excellent sensorial esthetics and textures and has good compatibility with organic UV filters, zinc oxide, waterproofing agents, and emollients. It works in both cold-process and sprayable systems and adds cushion to cold-process formulations.

Lanette® N is an anionic self-emulsifying cream base that is used for manufacturing cosmetic O/W emulsions for skin and hair care. It is a suitable alternative to stearate-based cream bases. This cream base has applications in several areas, including skin care, sun care, hair care, and body care.

Lanette® 16 is a consistency-giving factor that regulates viscosity in O/W emulsions. It appears as a white to light yellowish hydrophilic wax that is supplied in pellets or flakes. Due to its consistency-giving properties, it is mainly used for viscosity regulation in cosmetic O/W emulsions.

Lanette® O is a cetyl stearyl alcohol that is used for viscosity regulation in cosmetic oil-in-water emulsions. It is a white to light yellow hydrophilic wax that is supplied in pellets. The benefits of the product include skin care and hair and scalp care.

LANETTE® D is a consistency factor suitable for all kinds of oil-in-water emulsions, composed of cetyl stearyl alcohol.
