Natisol is a natural, patented lipo aminoacid able to solubilize essential oils, fragrances and lipophilic actives in cosmetics. It is particularly suitable for cleansing solutions and detergent systems which gives clarity and brilliance. It completely substitutes ethoxylated products, normally used in cosmetic products without giving up the foam. Natisol complies with COSMOS standards.

DEXCARE™ polymer is a quaternary ammonium salt of dextran. This renewable bio-derived polysaccharide is a highly effective deposition aid for beneficial agents such as silicones or natural oils. The dextran backbone is fermented from natural, renewable sources. DEXCARE™ Polymers can be used in shampoos and body washes.

SAP-Hexuron™ (SAP) is a stable vitamin C derivative that is cleaved enzymatically in the skin to release active vitamin C. It is produced by direct phosphorylation of ascorbic acid sodium salt where I-acorbic acid is suspended in oxygenated, nonhydroxylic solvent together with sodium and then treated with a phosphorylating agent. SAP-Hexuron™ is soluble in water and does not degrade in aqueous formulas. It is also an antioxidant that reduces oxidative stress by neutralizing free radicals, effectively slowing down the aging process and formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

Silicone fluid

MAKON® UD-Series of products are fast wetters due to their C11 branched carbon chain. They are faster wetters than nonylphenol ethoxylates (NP) and tridecyl alcohol ethoxylates (TDA). They also have good initial foam height with fast foam break, useful in applications like industrial clean-in-place and laundry.

AMPHOMER® Polymer is an amphoteric acrylic hair fixative that offers market-leading stiffness and unprecedented high humidity curl retention properties. It is a stiff resin with unparalleled holding power for ultimate control in all temperature and humidity conditions. AMPHOMER® Polymer can be applied in traditional and low VOC aerosol and pump hair sprays, and styling aids such as mousses, gels, creams, pomades, and glues where long-lasting finishing hold is desired. AMPHOMER® Polymer also provides thermal protection properties (refer to US Patent 9,119,972 B2) and acts as a hair shield for hot heating implements such as flat irons and curling wands, helping to protect the hair cuticle from hair damage caused by heat.

Akocare™ Coconut Oil comes from a traceable supply chain where AAK is working on improving the trading and production conditions at origin. For example, it has been confirmed that primates are not involved in the harvesting of the coconuts, which makes the coconut oil suitable for vegans.

MASCOLETH® products are linear or branched alcohol ethoxylates that act as nonionic surfactants. They are intermediates for sulfation process, wetting agents, dispersants, emulsifier, foaming agents and also solubilizing agents.

MIRASIL™​ silicones are used in a wide range of care and cosmetic applications to offer performance and comfort to consumers. For hair care, they are used in shampoos and conditioners to protect and repair, enhance gloss and body, reduce frizz and preserve color. In skin care, they provide a soft and silky emolliency, while being breathable but water repellent in sun-screens and boosting SPF. In antiperspirants and deodorants, they are easy to spread, feel warm and dry on the skin and provide anti-whitening protection. In cosmetics, they spread easily and evenly with a silky and powdery feel while enriching colors and they are safe to use even on the most delicate skin.

Glutamate and sarcosinate salts are anionic amino acid bases surfactants that are used in cosmetics as mild surfactants with a lower irritation potential compared to other surfactants. Sarcosinates are also available in free acid form. Main application areas in cosmetics are: skin, hair and oral hygiene products, and in addition soap production; further application areas are sunscreens and creams. Besides the application in cosmetics these surfactants are also used in household, I&I and industrial products, e.g. as corrosion inhibitors in lubricants or metal working fluids, as rust preventatives, as fuel additives, as surfactant in various types of cleaners and as textile processing aids.
