BioLoop surfactants have been designed to offer the formulator a wide range of options based on selection of products that range from hydrophobic to more hydrophilic types. These products can be used in many applications and perform against standard synthetic nonionics such as commonly used alcohol ethoxylates. Disponil® grades are anionic based surfactants for a wide range of applications where dynamic wetting and solubilising properties are needed. Especially their strong emulsifying and dispersing characteristics are the main property in diverse applications. They are used during the polymerization process are essential for problem-free manufacture, insitu-polymerization stabilization and can also positively influence the dispersion performance in application. Disponil® grades are free of sodium chloride and the remaining salt content of sodium sulfate is reduced to a very low limit. With regard to the 1,4 Dioxan content in fatty alcohol ether sulfates (FES) the level is reduced to a limit depending on the ethoxylation degree. Overall the content is below 150 ppm, whereas the lowest is < 5ppm. Those narrow ranged by-products of the main product are mandatory in sensitive applications like emulsion polymerisation processes. In addition most of the emulsifiers are FDA or BfR (Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung) approved.

ALPHA-STEP® is a mild liquid wash concentrate for use in shampoos, body washes, facial washes and hand washes.

Brij™ is an ethoxylated natural fatty alcohol, based on oleyl alcohol chemistry. This naturally derived surfactant offers a number of functional benefits including wetting and high foaming to a variety of applications.

BIO-SOFT® is a nonionic surfactant blend that is an excellent cleaner, degreaser, and detergent. It can be formulated into concentrates and ready-to-use products for household, industrial, and institutional applications.

Twin Rivers offers varied products with vegetable origin. Soybean fatty acid is commonly used in production of emulsifiers and lubricants.

Plurafac® grades are fatty alcohol alkoxylates. They are petrochemically sourced and are low-foaming nonionic surfactants. They consist of alkoxylated, predominantly unbranched fatty alcohols, and they contain higher alkene oxides alongside ethylene oxide. The fatty alcohol chains of some Plurafac® types terminate in an alkyl group. Their most important properties are wetting, low-foaming, or even defoaming. They are used in versatile chemical-technical applications to ensure a smooth process flow. BTC’s low-foaming surfactants are used in the paper & pulp industry or in the metal treatment industry, especially in metalworking fluids. Cirrasol™ is a sorbitol-based surfactant recommended as an emulsifier for vegetable oils.

Dehypon® grades are oleochemical sourced fatty alcohol alkoxylates. They are special grades which provide very low foaming properties. The physical form vary from liquid to solid, even granules are available. Dehypon® grades are versatile useable and provide properties such as wetting, soil removal, low foaming and emulsification. Dehypon® low foaming surfactants are used in versatile chemical-technical applications to ensure a smooth process flow. Application fields are besides others in the paper & pulp industry or in the metal treatment industry, especially in metalworking fluids. Also in the wood based fiber production, in textile pre-treatment and in coatings formulations BTC’s low foaming surfactants are used.

Crodaquat™ is a cationic surfactant which works effectively as an emulsifier.

DIVERSACLEAN™ is a readily biodegradable blend of non-ionic and cationic surfactants designed to deliver grease removal from water-based surfactant systems, especially for industrial and institutional (I&I) applications.

Silicone polyethers, or silicone surfactants, contain both a water-insoluble silicone backbone and a number of water-soluble polyether pendant groups. The ratio of the silicone to polyether, and the molecular weight and composition of the components determine the solubility and specific properties of a product. These products exist as multi-pendant and linear di-functional polymers. Siltech offers a broad range of silicone polyethers as well as custom-designed products for specific applications. These are also available in cosmetic grades, where they are commonly referred to as dimethicone copolyols. These products are widely used as emulsifiers, foaming agents, solubilizers and softeners. They are also used in many inks and coatings formulations were they add slip, mar resistance and leveling.
