Polycor® Tooling SP gel coats are formulated specifically for mold making. These precision-formulated gel coats utilize selected resins that exhibit high heat distortion to withstand the repeated molding of FRP laminates. None of these products contain lead. They provide a high gloss and hard durable surface. These tooling gel coats are formulated ready-to-spray after the addition of the proper amount of an appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide catalyst. They are formulated to be low in hide so that imperfections can be easily spotted. Read application instructions carefully, because even though manufacturing precautions are used to make tooling gel coat, a misapplication of these products can produce unacceptable results.

Mesmeric stargaze has a brilliant deep sparkling lustrous finish that looks fabulous from a distance. The tiny sparkles change color as the direction of light changes. A fantastic effect as wave action changes the sparkle in sunlight or by pool light at night. Mesmeric granitea has a slightly more restrained finish, still with a beautiful lustrous gloss, but with a fascinating stone texture enhancement, giving a subtle natural look. Mesmeric silken has a deep, lustrous gloss finish but without any texture effects – designed to blend into more traditional architectural surroundings. It is generally used in composites applicatons.

Armorflex® 953 Base White gel coats are high performance, iso/npg products that display desirable high gloss buffback® qualities. Buffback® qualities of these gel coats are demonstrated as:easier, quicker gloss recovery less buffing time to achieve gloss .Higher gloss recovery when polishing back aged or exposed gel coat surfaces.Higher gloss in the repair patch and surrounding refinished area.Higher gloss recoverability from lower gloss molds. Higher gloss can be perceived as a deeper, richer color, providing an enhanced cosmetic appearance to the gel coated part. While offering these benefits, the Armorflex® 953 series gel coats have retained the important construction application qualities expected from ccp gel coats, such as resistance to porosity, tearing, and color separation; sag resistance; consistent liquid properties; excellent patchability; and more. All of these properties contribute to the high quality appeal in FRP parts made from ccp high gloss Armorflex® buffback® gel coats. Gel coats in this series resist weathering and blistering because they are formulated to give high performance against water and certain chemicals, although blister resistance is best with gel coats in the 943 series. Gel coats in the 953 series are made with neopentyl glycol Npg and were primarily developed for sanitary and quality marine applications; however, they should be used in any FRP application where high performance characteristics are desired. 953 gel coats utilize this unique glycol to provide a gel coat that surpasses previous commercial gel coats in its resistance to blistering. They also contain isophthalic acid iso as a cocomponent rather than orthophthalic acid. The isophthalic functionality is used, rather than the orthophthalic to complement the NPG for better end use properties. These gel coats provide durable, reduced maintenance products. These gel coats have enabled customers to meet and surpass all requirements of the American national standard for plastic bathtubs, shower receptors and shower stalls, ANSI Z124.1, .2 and .3 –1995, sec. 6.1.1.

Polycor® 99C Colors pigmented gel coats formulated for the casting industry MACT compliant resistant to water and certain chemicals provides durability and reduced maintenance. Main applications areas are building and construction, composites, marine etc.

Stypol® 040-4954 is clear MACT compliant NPG isophthalic gel coats. They have been designed for use in the manufacturing of cultured marble, onyx, and granite.

Imedge® PCT 110 Neutral Base are advanced polymer coating technology PCT products that have been formulated to be used as in-mold, exterior coatings for reinforced plastic parts.

Bathcote® 992 Neutral Base gel coats are high performance products formulated for the sanitary-ware industries. These gel coats have low volatile organic compound properties. Bathcote® gel coats meet the EPA national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants NESHAP : reinforced composites construction. While offering these benefits, polynt composites gel coats have retained the important construction application qualities customers have come to expect from polynt composites gel coats, such as resistance to porosity, tearing, and color separation; sag resistance; consistent liquid properties; good patchability; and more. These all add up to higher quality appeal in FRP parts made from polynt composites' 992 series gel coats. The bathcote® 992 series resist blistering because they are formulated to provide high performance against water and certain chemicals. These gel coats were primarily developed for sanitary applications. These gel coats provide durable, reduced maintenance products. Polynt composites gel coats have enabled customers to meet and surpass all requirements of the American national standard for plastic bathtubs, shower receptors and shower stalls, IAPMO/ANSI Z124.1 .2 -2005, section 6.1. This product series has received certification from the canadian standards association CSA and is eligible to bear the CSA trademark. These gel coats require only the addition of the proper amount of the appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure.

Sogel ISO/NPG Transportation Gel coat has been developed from a special ISO/NPG polyester resin. POLYCOR® LSC NPG FLEX PA WHITE 9199 - A pre-accelerated gel coat base on unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This high performance gel coat is formulated for use in sanitary and marine applications or GRP application where resistance to water and blistering are needed.

SURFITEX™ EU 45 G NL is a synthetic veil, designed to generate a high-quality surface during production of FRP components, including pipes, tanks, façade panels and wind blades. Surfitex™ is manufactured from 100 % polyester fibers, which are hydro-entangled with highpressure jets of water, with no chemicals added, which means there is no risk of chemical contamination of the resin. This material is highly suitable for pultrusion, filament winding, RTM, vacuum infusion and hand lay-up processes.

Armorguard® 967 Black have been formulated as barrier coats to reduce osmotic blistering, and as print blockers, to provide a smoother gel coat finish.

Sogel Platinum Gel coats have been developed from a proprietary hybrid resin with high quality pigments and special additives. These gel coats offer outstanding paint-like weathering resistance, optimum crack resistance at demold and have blister and chlorine resistance superior to that of ISO/NPG gel coats. Platinum Gel coats require the use of a two component spray gun application system for the simultaneous application of the co-promoter RM-0018 Sogel.

Polycor® 969 Colors - sanding, MACT compliant gel coat for use in manufacture of FRP parts to be painted. Excellent sanding properties and good elongation. Polynt Group 10 - Dispersion of high quality pigments in a monomer-free reactive polyester grinding vehicle

POLYCOR® TOP COAT PA WHITE 9199 - A pre-accelerated top coat based on Isophthalic unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This TOP COAT product is formulated to be applied to the back surface of laminates to provide a tack free surface finish. It should not be used as a gel coat. This topcoat is formulated to meet the rigid requirements of transportation,boating and sanitary applications.

Polycor® Tooling VE BR Neutral 0000 - speciality vinyl ester based gel coat formulated to provide our highest level of heat resistance. A high gloss durable surface, resilient to the repeated molding cycles of composite production. High levels of styrene and chemical resistance.

Gel Coat IN-500 (Clear) is a premium quality gelcoat. It is a decorative coating based on ISO/NPG unsaturated polyester resin, for “spray” and “hand” application. The gelcoat could be tinted to any color in accordance with RAL cataloge or with your laminate sample.

AeroWindTech AWTPP 103 is designed for vacuum bag lay-up composites and metal-to-metal bonding structures. AWTPP-103 is produced from 100% Polyester fiber. The fiber melts at approximately 480°F (249°C). The fabric leaves a medium surface impression for priming and secondary bonding and is available in precision slit widths. This product is available in standard white heat set finish.

Schmelzer Industries PEARLVEIL 20 mil is a non-woven, continuous strand glass fiber surfacing veil for relatively flat composite parts. Process applications include Pre-form, Compression Molding, Continuous Lamination, Electrical Flat Sheet, RTM / Vacuum Infusion, Filament Winding, Glass Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG).

POLYCOR® TOOLING PA CLEAR 0200 - A pre-accelerated gel coat base on unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This product is recommended for mold manufacturing process and provide durable surfaces to withstand the repeated moldings of GRP laminates.

Polycryl PPS-B-630 Black is a refinishing vinyl ester tooling gel coat. These coatings are vinyl ester urethane hybrids with a unique low hap chemistry. They are MACT Compliant and meet current Federal regulations regarding emissions.

Schmelzer Industries TRUMAT 5/8 Ounce is a non-woven, semi-continuous strand glass fiber mat designed for pultrusion and filament winding. Ideal for use in thin wall profiles or for resin rich surface finishes.

Polynt Group 25 series gelcoats are formulated from premium polyester resins and fire retardant additives to achieve optimal fire retardancy properties and low slow smoke development. They are suitable for applications requiring a surface with resistance to flame spread and smoke development.

POLYCOR® 960SW Series gel coats are ISO/NPG products formulated for the swimming pool industry. POLYCOR® 960SW Series gel coats meet the EPA National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Reinforced Plastic Composites Production - Corrosion Resistant/High Strength or High Performance gel coat. Use of POLYCOR® 960SW gel coat has enabled customers to meet certain requirements of the American National Standard for plastic bathtubs,shower receptors and shower stalls,IAPMO/ANSI Z124.1 .2-2005,Section 6.1. For swimming pool applications,Polynt recommends that these gel coats be backed by IMEDGE® HPB210 High Performance Barrier Coat,Polynt’s ArmorGuard® vinyl ester barrier coat products,or Polynt’s ArmorStar® VSX vinyl ester skin resins. Use of these materials will create a durable osmotic blister resistant composite that is ideal for swimming pool manufacture. These gel coats are intended and recommended only for the original manufacture of swimming pools; they should not be used for post application (other than patching on the original units). These gel coats are not recommended for the manufacture of spas or saunas. While offering these benefits,these POLYCOR® gel coats have retained the important construction and application qualities expected from Polynt Composites gel coats,such as resistance to tearing and color separation,resistance to porosity,sag resistance,consistent liquid properties,and more. RECKLI Adhesive Paste EP is a slightly thixotropic, solvent-free, two-component adhesive resin for the adhesion of wood, paperboard, natural or synthetic stone, various metals and plastics. Its color is creamy-white.
