Our Timiron® line of silverwhite and interference pigments adds sophistication to virtually any formulation. The versatile pigments add an extra dimension of pearlescence to cosmetics or personal care products. The majority of our Timiron® silverwhite pigments is characterized by variable titanium dioxide layers on natural or synthetic mica or aluminum oxide platelets. Our silverwhite pigments vary in particle size distribution, ranging from 1 – 15 μm (Timiron® Supersilk MP-1005) to 20 – 180 μm (Timiron® Ice Crystal). Depending on their particle size and pigment composition, they display different silverwhite lustrous effects ranging from subtle to satiny, pearly, metallic, or even sparkly.

Upsalite® is a material technology platform based on amorphous mesoporous magnesium carbonate. It has an extraordinarily high surface area and pore volume as compared to other earth metal carbonates. Cosmetic Grade Upsalite is finely milled for cosmetic applications providing a smooth and semi-translucent appearance.

Silicone polyethers, or silicone surfactants, contain both a water-insoluble silicone backbone and a number of water-soluble polyether pendant groups. The ratio of the silicone to polyether, and the molecular weight and composition of the components determine the solubility and specific properties of a product. These products exist as multi-pendant and linear di-functional polymers. Siltech offers a broad range of silicone polyethers as well as custom-designed products for specific applications. These are also available in cosmetic grades, where they are commonly referred to as dimethicone copolyols. These products are widely used as emulsifiers, foaming agents, solubilizers and softeners. They are also used in many inks and coatings formulations were they add slip, mar resistance and leveling.

NINOL® is a nonionic surfactant providing viscosity building, foam boosting, foam stabilization properties.
