Solid Vulkollan® fills the gap in the hardness range between rubber-elastic materials and hard plastics (e.g. polyamide) and can be adjusted between 65 Shore hardness A and 70 Shore hardness D. Due to its excellent property profile, Vulkollan® is used in all areas of industry where the highest demands are placed on the material. Articles of different geometries from a few grams to more than 100kg unit weight can be produced economically both in large series and in individual production.

The special chemical bond of Vulkollan® gives this material an excellent level of properties such as high resilience, very low abrasion loss, extremely low compression set, high thermal stability, excellent tear and tear propagation resistance.

When flexible tubings are exposed to harsh chemicals, plasticizer extraction leading to embrittlement one of the most frequent causes of failure. Tygothane® C-210-A is plasticizer-free and remains flexible even when cycled through temperature extremes. Rigidly controlled manufacturing processes ensure consistently tight tolerances from one lot to the next. Precision tolerances and high elasticity provide the user with an easy, worry-free attachment to fittings. Able to withstand rugged daily use, Tygothane® Precision Polyuerethane Tubing is made of a tough, ester-based polyurethane. Its clarity, high tear strength and excellent abrasion resistance make it ideal for many applications, including fuel and lubricant lines, pneumatic lines, abrasive product transfer and cable jacketing. It meets FDA criteria for food and beverage use and is also available in ether-based, medical grade and reinforced formulations. Tygothane® C-210-A resists weathering and can be safely used in temperatures ranging from -100°F (-73°C) to 200°F (93°C).
