STAR HIB® products provide excellent shale inhibition in formations that contain problematic swelling and reactive clays such as smectite and mixed layer illite/smectite. Our shale inhibitors and stabilizers are Gold-rated under CHARM, and pass both the LC50 and the North America Mysid Shrimp Test. Designed to work in brine or freshwater drilling fluid systems, our shale inhibitors and stabilizers reduce many of the problems caused by gumbo-like clay and promote improved cuttings integrity. The result is lower dispersion and hydration of reactive clay and shale, reducing the potential for gumbo attacks, bit balling, hole instability and similar issues.

DREWPLAST® is a nonionic surfactant used as a release agent and anitstat for plastic and films.

Anionic surfactants are negatively charged materials that are available in a variety of chemical types. The main classes being alkyl ether sulfates, alkyl sulfates, alkylbenzene sulfonates, alpha olefin sulfonates, phosphate esters. They are used in a wide range of applications where they provide useful characteristics including, emulsification, solubilisation, wetting, detergency, dispersion and foaming.

Ven-Fyber Coarse™ is composed of a blend of differing types of surface modified micronized cellulosic fibers. The differing types and sizes of the source materials provide excellent bridging and matting of thief zones in the near well-bore formation for effective sealing and prevention of whole fluid losses.

LubBase® oils are refined by an advanced hydrocracking and catalytic dewaxing process in state-of-the-art refinery facilities. COLORLESS CRYSTALLINE OIL The resulting base oil is a highly saturated, clear colorless oil, and virtually free of aromatics, polar compounds, and sulfur. In other words, no impurities that limit the performance of conventional base oils.

Traction Motor TM-10™ is maximum-duty, metal-conditioning lubricant for adding to traction motor gear cases that need extra protection from extreme pressure. It increases gear service life while cooling the overall system. TM-10™ polishes, seals and protects the gear metal from wear and damage caused by extreme pressure and friction-related heat.

Chemax polyoxyethylated fatty acids are used as emulsifiers and lubricants additives in metal lubricants, textile lubricants, and cosmetic formulations. They are also used as emulsifiers in defoamers and as viscosity control agents in plastisol formulations.
