MEA 62 is a hydrogen sulfide scavenger for flowline and bubble tower applications. MEA 62 will react rapidly with hydrogen sulfide to form stable, water-soluble products that can be injected down disposal wells. Unlike many conventional scavengers, MEA 62 is unaffected by the presence of carbon dioxide and continues to removes H2S efficiently. Typical field blends may be made by diluting 20-40% with fresh water.
