Acconon products are well-characterized mixtures of polyoxyethylene mono- and diglycerides, fatty acids or fatty alcohols. NEOSORB® PF is a pyrogen-free sorbitol used for parenteral preparations. In API applications it is used as a carbohydrate source and osmotic diuretic agent in large volume parenteral injectables.  In excipient applications it is used for Rx injectables as an isotonic agent.
