KODAK ESTAR are flexible, dual-shield, high clarity and highly conductive polyester films for consumer and industrial applications stretching far beyond photography.

The Semitron® Semiconductor Grade products were developed to help designers and users optimize the performance of device manufacturing equipment.  In addition to device manufacture, many of these materials are ideal for specific environments where wear-resistance, chemical-resistance and the management of static electricity are required. Two groups of products have been developed. One, well suited for device handling and test applications, and a second for next-generation CMP use.

Duratex® tubes is phenol or epoxy resin with reinforcement of cotton cloth. Special grades for hydraulic guide rings and miniature ball-bearing cages.

Noxtat SDB™ acrylic sheets are coated with a transparent metal/plastic material that will permanently prevent formation of static electricity on the surface. The surface has excellent mar and abrasion resistance, resistance to charge generation, and superior static decay characteristics and cannot be tribocharged. The product displays excellent control of both electrostatic discharge (ESD) and particulate attraction. Their permanent characteristics are not affected by humidity. They are intended for use in fabricated parts as well as panels. They are flexible for heat bending and is clear and hard for panel applications.

PEEK, a linear semi-crystalline aromatic polymer, is considered the highest performing thermoplastic material due to its ability to withstand extreme temperatures, high pressure, and caustic fluids. Now Zeus has taken PEEK to an entirely new level of performance with the introduction of PEEKshrink™ – PEEK heat-shrinkable tubing.

Polyethylene terephthalate is a semi-crystalline material from the polyester family of plastics and, due to its good thermal and mechanical properties, is counted among the polymer group of engineering plastics. It has a high surface hardness and good sliding and wear behavior.

COLORADO provides designers, specifiers and architects with possibilities to use transparent colored polycarbonate sheets in applications where high clarity and optical performance is required.

Ketron® PEEK grades offer chemical and hydrolysis resistance similar to PPS, but can operate at higher temperature range. PEEK 1000 offers steam and wear resistance, while carbon-reinforced PEEK provides excellent wear capabilities. Our latest grade, PEEK HPV, offers outstanding bearing performance. PEEK can be used continuously to 480°F (250°C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. For hostile environments, PEEK is a high strength alternative to fluoropolymers. PEEK carries a V-O flammability rating and exhibits very low smoke and toxic gas emission when exposed to flame. Sarafil base films are suitable for a range of applications with its inherent properties of being clear, transparent, flexible and with high Tensile strength and modulus with high heat resistance.

Material & Design Solutions’ (MDS) Petroz™ perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) is a superior choice for sealing in the most challenging environments. Effective at temperatures up to 250°C (482°F), Petroz compounds have a broad chemical resistance in aggressive chemical environments such as H2S, amine-based (high pH) corrosion inhibitors, organic solvents, and strong acids. These compounds also offer a significantly lower compression set compared to competitive products providing longevity and a more effective sealing solution. Petroz FFKM compounds are designed to operate and excel in high temperature, high pressure, and hostile chemical environments. In addition, Petroz 595 has superior rapid gas decompression (RGD) resistance and has demonstrated excellent RGD resistance in laboratory (ISO 23936-2 and NORSOK M-170) testing. Petroz compounds are totally fluorinated and offer the ultimate chemical resistance required in downhole applications as well as in mechanical seals, pumps, and valves in a variety of industries.

Micromat® is a flexible, resilient, blanket-type fiberglass insulation faced on one side with a smooth, durable, nonwoven fiberglass mat. It is recommended specifically for use as a thermal and acoustical control liner in HVAC equipment. It is also suited for other equipment applications requiring effective thermal and acoustical control, low air friction, damage resistance and an attractive appearance.

Due to its good thermal and mechanical properties, this semi-crystalline material belongs to the polymer group of engineering plastics. It has a high surface hardness and good sliding and wear behavior. Since POM belongs to the group of short-chip materials, machining is significantly simplified when compared to similar plastic materials.

Polyimide (PI) is a group of high performing polymers known for their exceptional chemical, thermal, and mechanical performance properties. These materials demonstrate exceptional thermal stability in high and low temperatures and are extremely flame resistant. PI Glide™, our PI / PTFE composite, is a high lubricity polyimide blend for applications that require lower surface friction yet do not require the performance of pure PTFE. PI Glide™ maintains broad chemical resistance and good dielectric properties in addition to its reduced coefficient of friction. PI Glide™ is available in tubing and as a coating for over-the-wire (OTW, insulated wire) applications. For insulated wire, PI Glide™ provides a low-friction wire for easier deployment or insertion into tubing. With PI Glide™ tubing, inside diameters offer low resistance to inserted devices or tools (pushability) while the outside remains bondable without etching. PI Glide™ can also be produced in a layered composite construction with our conventional polyimide or with PI Glide™ alone. Composite layering polyimide and PI Glide™ allows users to further tailor polyimide tubing or coating properties.

Stretch-Vac™ is a red tinted, transparent, heat stabilized, blown modified Nylon 6 vacuum bagging film. It is recommended for vacuum bagging applications up to 400°F (204°C).

Sterra™ shapes are produced from re-processed, industrial ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene materials. These recycled shapes are then re-purposed for use in a variety of industries such as construction and heavy equipment, agriculture and grain handling, bulk material and parcel handling, and automotive and transportation.
