Ketron® Sterra™ CA30 PEEK is a 30% carbon fiber-reinforced grade that exhibits even higher stiffness, mechanical strength, and creep and wear resistance than Ketron GF30 PEEK. With a significantly reduced thermal expansion, optimum load carrying capabilities, and high thermal conductivity rates, Ketron® Sterra™ CA30 PEEK components are often favored for their ability to extend part life and rapidly dissipate heat in bearing applications. As part of the Sterra™ product portfolio, this material contains recycled content and exhibits a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to similar materials derived from non-recycled feedstocks.

Ketron® Sterra™ HPV PEEK shapes are carbon fiber reinforced with graphite and PTFE lubricants. This gives them the lowest coefficient of friction and the best machinability of all PEEK materials. Due to Ketron® Sterra™ HPV PEEK’s combination of low wear, low friction, and high LPV, this grade is often chosen as a solution for service bearings, bushings, insulators, valves, and seals. Acetron® C Sterra™ POM-C is a general-purpose copolymer acetal grade that is often favored for its porosity-free nature. Acetron® C Sterra™ POM-C shapes offer low moisture and excellent machinability capabilities, making it a very versatile material that can excel in a multitude of environments. Ertalyte® Sterra™ PET is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline grade that is produced from proprietary resin grades made by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials. Characterized by its excellent wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, high strength, and resistance to moderately acidic solutions, this grade is capable of sustaining high loads and retains more of its original strength up to 180°F (85°C) than nylons or acetals. Due to these characteristics, Ertalyte® Sterra™ PET components are a favored solution for bearing and structural applications throughout the pharmaceutical, food processing and packaging, and oil and gas industries. TIVAR® Sterra™ UHMW-PE shapes are produced from reprocessed industrial UHMW materials and repurposed for use in a variety of industries, such as construction and heavy equipment, agriculture and grain handling, bulk material and parcel handling, automotive, and transportation. As a premium grade that is both economical and eco-friendly, TIVAR® Sterra™ UHMW-PE components exhibit excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance, outstanding impact strength, minimal moisture absorption, and a low coefficient of friction. As a premium grade that is both economical and eco-friendly, TIVAR® Sterra™ ESD UHMW-PE components exhibit excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance, outstanding impact strength, minimal moisture absorption, and a low coefficient of friction. For these reasons, TIVAR® Sterra™ ESD UHMW-PE is often a favored solution for conveyor, chute, and hopper applications, where electrical charge build-ups are prevalent. TIVAR® Sterra™ DrySlide UHMW-PE is an internally lubricated product. This lubricant is built into the PE-UHMW matrix with a higher molecular weight. It offers a lower coefficient of friction and enhanced wear and abrasion resistance than TIVAR® 1000 PE-UHMW. The additives used also make this material static dissipative and considerably improves UV-resistance. Ketron® Sterra™ 1000 PEEK is an unfilled, general-purpose grade known for its exceptional elongation and toughness.
