Background

Oleogels are natural oils that are thickened with particles or polymers, typically less than 10% solids at room temperatures. Though made of a mostly liquid fraction, they are semi-solid in character and are very useful for providing good film-forming and barrier protection properties together with medium spreadability on the skin.

Akogel™ should be stored in dark, dry and odor free conditions. Recommended storage temperature is 15-20°C or below.

When stored in unopened original container according to recommended storage conditions, the recommended maximum storage time is three years from the production date. Within this time Akogel™ fulfills the shelf life specification.
