Andisil® MH 20 Fluid is used in concentrations from 0.5 to 1.5 percent by weight and will encapsulate or coat the finest particles with a thin, cured coating. The fluid is used with cosmetic powders, fertilizers, silica, glass beads, titanium dioxide pigments, sodium chloride and lime. The product may be cured with steaming or an organo-tin salt, such as stannous octoate or dibutyl tin dilaurate. However, the process will produce hydrogen gas and proper safety conditions must be observed since the gas is flammable and can be explosive.
The Andisil® MH 20 is also reactive with vinyl silicone polymers in the presence of a platinum catalyst to produce a cured silicone rubber. However, the product will produce a very highly crosslinked rubber that will need to be adjusted or diluted to obtain a more suitable silicone rubber with improved elongation.

Packaging & Availability
- Packaging Information
It is recommended to ground the container when pouring or weighing a quantity into another container or vessel to eliminate the chance of a static discharge
Storage & Handling

- Storage and Shelf Life
The shelf life, when the container is stored unopened and under proper conditions (in temperatures below 50 ºF - do not allow to freeze), is expected to be a minimum of twelve months. It is not recommended to store the product outdoors since the material can become contaminated with water or moisture over time due to weather conditions. Andisil® MH 20 should not be exposed to temperatures above 140 °F. This will cause the slow evolution of hydrogen gas and all containers must be opened and vented slowly to gently relieve any pressure build-up.
