Andisil® MS 32 fluid is a trimethylsiloxy-terminated mercaptopropyl methyl dimethyl polysiloxane copolymer used to improve the adhesion to metal and fiber surfaces along with better corrosion inhibiting properties in auto-care products or formulations compared to conventional silicone fluids. The Andisil® MS 32 fluid has been made with a 20:1 ratio of dimethylsiloxy to mercaptopropyl methylsiloxy groups that are randomly pendant along the polymer backbone. The product can also be used as a release agent for rubber and plastic articles. It has utility as an additive in UV and EB curing inks and coatings.
