  • Modified polysiloxane fluid used as a release agent in the molding, extruding and fabricating of rubber and plastic items, and in the die casting of metals.
  • Effective as a parting agent in die casting aluminum, zinc, magnesium and other metals.
  • May be formulated into automotive polish products for use in garage and body shops where standard silicones could give rise to re-coatability problems.
Instructions For Use
For optimum performance, Andisil® SF 265 Fluid should be diluted with solvent prior to use. A common dilution ratio is 100 parts by weight of solvent to 1.0 to 2.0 parts by weight of the product. Suitable solvents to use are aromatic solvents, such as xylene and also VM&P naphtha can be used. The diluted product can be applied by brushing, spraying or wiping. It is suggested that tests be done with the diluted product under actual production conditions to determine the most suitable and economical concentration and frequency of repeated application for the specific use.
