Recommended Uses

Andisil® SPR TPO is specifically developed for priming TPO and EPDM surfaces. This product adheres well to clean surfaces and can be used as a primer for TPO and EPDM for application of moisture-cure silicone roof coatings.

Application Procedure

Application Rate
Substrate should be coated until it appears wet. Care should be taken not to flood or over apply primer. Yield is 400 to 800 square feet per gallon (1/4 to 1/8 gallon per 100 square feet), depending on the porosity of the substrate and thickness of each application.

Application and Cleanup
Primer has to be applied with a lambs wool pad or rolled on. Material should be applied to a 2 - 4 mil wet thickness, depending on the porosity of the substrate. Cleanup up with xylene.
Application Procedure
This product may be applied directly to any clean, dry surface. No subsequent coats should be applied. This product should be applied thinly and uniformly. Over application can actually reduce product performance.
Generally, the first overcoat of the primer can be done the same day if desired.
The blue dye is present to help prevent over application. Once a surface is uniformly very pale blue enough product has been applied. Generally, if you can see that primer has been applied by the presence of blue color as compared to the unprimed membrane, enough has been applied – keep it thin.
