Founded in 1959, Abatron, Inc., specializes in the research, formulation, and manufacture of epoxy and related compounds. Abatron, Inc.’s business initially served the OEM market with compounds for electronics, adhesives, coatings, composites, molds, and castings. In the early 1980’s the company expanded and began to fill the demand for high-quality building restoration products. During this period the company introduced LiquidWood® and WoodEpox® for wood restoration, ABOCRETE™, Aboweld™ 55-1, and Abojet™ for concrete restoration, and Metalfix™, Bronzeweld™, and Ferrobond™ for metal restoration. Early on these products were specified for architectural restoration and sold exclusively to contractors for installation. Soon thereafter, the high demand for these products made it necessary to facilitate direct sales to end-users. A network of retailers was also established for our wood repair products. Abatron, Inc. is a close corporation located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and it is ISO 9001 registered. We sell products in the U.S.A. and abroad. Abothane 8003-3™ Protects wood, concrete, and seamless floors anywhere a clear, tough coating is required. High gloss. Abothane 8003-3 is designed for high flexibility and abrasion, chemical, and corrosion resistance with high wear and slip resistant properties. Practically colorless, it looks great on most floors. Requires no waxing. Perfect consistency for sealing porous surfaces.

Kromakote 8601-1 provides outstanding wear resistance, hardness, gloss, color retention, adhesion, permanence, and durability. Stands up to harsh environments and atmospheric conditions. Use on bath tubs, tiles, sinks, tanks, masonry, and more. Apply with brush or spray gun. Three coats are recommended for porcelain refinishing. Acts as standard base for subsequent clear coats. Available in white and custom colors.

Abocoat 8508-1 excels as a protective and decorative coating for concrete, metal, wood and composite surfaces, indoors and outdoors. It is applied to floors, walls, machinery and installations in industrial, marine, and architectural environments. It is an excellent base coat for polyurethane and other coatings.

Abocoat 8106-5™ is recommended for coating damp floors and walls, hard freshly poured concrete, and many painted surfaces. Preferred for applications requiring low vapor emission and low fire hazard during application, such as schools, restaurants, and enclosed areas. Thin with water.

Abocoat 8006-3 provides heavy-duty protection on concrete, wood, and metal surfaces, preventing corrosion and wear. High gloss. Great versatility, superior adhesion, flexibility, hardness, and water, salt and chemical resistance. Inhibits rust. It is frequently specified for laboratories, commercial kitchens, hospitals, and industrial flooring. Add sand or ColorGrit™ to add slip-resistance.

Acrylic 57-1™ is recommended for floors, cabinets and trim, and metal and plastic elements. As it has a very low odor and low VOC’s, it is an excellent choice for coating floors and other surfaces in enclosed areas such as basements, hospitals, schools and restaurants, This product has a non-yellowing high-gloss finish with exceptional mar resistance. Although it works well on its own, it also makes an excellent choice as a topcoat for other coatings.

Abocoat 8508-3 is the first choice for heavy-duty protection and rebuilding of smooth, spalled, cracked or pitted floors. Apply to concrete, masonry, wood, metal, glass and composite surfaces. Ideal for seamless floors in heavy-traffic areas. Can be used with sand or grit to make a great anti-slip surface.

Abotar 8101-8™ is a versatile tar-epoxy that provides controllable flexibility when filling, resurfacing, and patching asphalt. Abotar 8101-8 is an excellent choice for use on ship decks, runways, parking garages, commercial and industrial floors, pipes, driveways, sidewalks, and roofs. It is weather and waterproof, and resists acids, alkalis, and fuels. Sand or other aggregate can be added to expand volume and enhance the coefficient of thermal expansion (important when patching large areas).
