"Over 25 years ago we developed a unique minesite. This minesite contains a naturally occurring blend of diatomaceous earth and montmorillonite clay. This unique clay blend is the foundation of our non-clumping cat litters, barn and stall deodorization and ammonia management products, agricultural products for use in animal feed and industrial granular absorbent line.

Our clay naturally neutralizes ammonia, absorbs its own weight in liquid, contains less than 1% free crystalline silica, and is non-toxic and non-corrosive.

Absorbent Products Ltd. produces industrial minerals from two mines in British Columbia and processes the material into products you would see on your store shelf.

We produce many different products from cat litter to industrial absorbents to feed additives and binders for the agriculture industry to natural insecticides and other applications as well. We process the materials at our plant

in Kamloops and export them to various countries and other parts of Canada.

Absorbent Products Ltd. has a very high value added ratio since we take the material from its raw state, process it and package it for retail sale. We continue to demonstrate a commitment to advancing and promoting sustainable development in the mining sector.

White Lake Diatomaceous Earth (WLDE) is a natural grade (uncalcined), that comes from a pure DE deposit. This pure, freshwater diatomaceous earth is composed of Food Chemical Codex Grade DE made of amorphous silica (the good kind of silica). WLDE contains a naturally pure form of amorphous silicon dioxide (Si02) that contains calcium, magnesium, and other beneficial trace mineral oxides. White Lake Diatomaceous Earth is registered for use as an inert carrier or anti-caking agent in animal feeds in an amount not to exceed two percent (2%) by weight of total ration.

Stall DRY Plus is composed of a natural blend of food grade diatomaceous earth and montmorillonite clay. It provides the same amazing benefits as our original Stall DRY with the added advantage of an antimicrobial and moisture activated scenting agent.

This helps to keep your backyard flock happy and healthy and keeps feathers in top condition. Fresh Coop Dust Bath is composed of Food Chemical Codex Grade (Food Grade) Diatomaceous Earth and Calcium Montmorillonite. This unique natural blend of Diatomaceous Earth helps to keep feathers clean by absorbing excess oils.

Absorbent Products Barn Fresh Plus was developed to provide superior ammonia control and manure management in poultry houses and livestock facilities. It provides all of the benefits of our original Barn Fresh with the added protection of an antimicrobial. Barn Fresh Plus contains diatomaceous earth and montmorillonite clay, as well as an antimicrobial and moisture activated scenting. It is treated with an antimicrobial in order to control the growth of bacterial odors. In addition, our Fresh Sense Technology, a moisture-activated scenting agent, releases a clean, fresh scent when it comes in contact with moisture.
