ACP Composites Aramid Honeycomb Core -Over-Expanded Cell is a lightweight, high strength, nonmetallic honeycomb core material manufactured from aramid fiber paper with a 3/16" rectangular cell and a density of 3 pounds per cubic foot (PCF). The overexpanded cell shape allows the core to flex in one direction easily, making it suitable for forming simple curves. After the honeycomb is formed, it is coated with a heat resistant phenolic resin to increase its strength and thermal properties. Aramid Honeycomb exhibits high strength-to-weight ratio, exceptional stiffness and is very bondable.

Lantor Soric® XF 2 is a flexible honeycomb foam mat used to add structure and thickness to composite laminates. The compression resistant hexagonal cell structure and resin flow channels make Aero-Mat ideal as a core material and infusion medium in one. Unlike standard cell honeycomb, Aero-Mat is very flexible and will conform to compound shapes. The pressure resistant cells create thickness in the laminate without the added weight of extra fabric layers. It is ideally suited for reinforcing curved laminations where additional stiffness is needed.

Lantor Soric® LRC 2 is a flexible, low resin consumption honeycomb foam mat used to add structure and thickness to composite laminates. It absorbs approximately 20% less resin compared to the “Lantor Soric XF” 2MM Aero Mat resulting in a lighter finished product. The compression resistant hexagonal cell structure and resin flow channels make Aero-Mat ideal as a core material and infusion medium in one.

ACP Composites Aramid Honeycomb Core - Standard Cell .060" is a lightweight, high strength, nonmetallic honeycomb core material manufactured from meta-aramid fiber paper with a 1/8" hexangular cell and density of 1.8 pounds per cubic foot (PCF). After the honeycomb is formed, it is coated with a heat resistant phenolic resin to increase its strength and thermal properties. It exhibits high strength-to-weight ratio, exceptional stiffness, and is very bondable.
