EPOXOL

BAER

EPOXOL® EP189 is a Bio-Base highly functional epoxy diluent. It is low viscosity, and exhibits excellent solvency quickly reducing the viscosity of epoxy systems. Epoxol® EP189 long chain, aliphatic structure is non-yellowing and provides excellent toughness (abrasion resistance, impact resistance, and flexibility). It is Ultra Low VOC and may increase hydrophobicity in coatings. Epoxol® EP189 may be used in systems that can be crosslinked with epoxy groups and is useful for resin synthesis. Compatible with Bis A, Bis F, and Novolac epoxies, and does not cause chain termination. Applications include epoxy coatings, flooring, potting compounds, laminates, and civil engineering products.

BAER™ XP9500 is a highly functional, bio-based aliphatic liquid epoxy resin designed for low to Zero VOC baked coatings, powder coatings adhesives and composites. It can be used as the sole curing agent or blended with other epoxies for heat cured systems.

EPOXOL® CA118 allows the formulation of architectural coatings with good block properties and scrub resistance.The high partitioning coefficient minimizes dirt pick up and aids in low humidity coalescence. Compatibility with ester alcohols and glycol ethers allows use of this product in architectural, industrial, maintenance and wood coatings. The high bio-derived content makes EPOXOL® CA118 an excellent choice for renewable formulations. The product may also be used in place of benzoate, phthalate and citrate ester plasticizers in coatings, sealants, adhesives, and caulk formulations.

EPOXOL® EM100 is an aliphatic soy ester produced using a patented process. The product is bio derived and compatible with common liquid asphalt cement feedstocks. It can be added at the asphalt terminal or Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) plant.

EPOXOL® EP193 is a Bio-Base Plasticizer and Coalescent for paints and related applications. It exhibits excellent compatibility with a variety of chemistries, is non-fugitive, and Ultra Low VOC’s. As a coalescent, Epoxol®EP193 has a very high partitioning coefficient and low HLB, providing superior low temperature and low humidity coalescence while maximizing dirt pick-up resistance. As a plasticizer, Epoxol®EP193 is an excellent, non-hazardous alternative to solvents, phthalate, benzoate, and citrate-ester plasticizers applications including coatings, caulks, sealants, and adhesives. It shows good stability and is an affective acid scavenger. Epoxol®EP193 has a high Bio-Based content and is an excellent choice for renewable formulations and low VOC systems.

EPOXOL® EMS is a zero VOC functional modifier, reactive diluent, acid scavenger, chemical intermediate, and plasticizer. It exhibits high solvency strength, excellent viscosity reduction and plasticization properties. Epoxol® EMS is compatible with epoxies, polyurethanes, acrylics, alkyds, and a variety of other resins. It has epoxide functionality, very low color and odor, is non-yellowing, very hydrophobic, and does not contain halogens. Applications include Coatings, Sealants, Adhesives, Elastomers, Electronic Applications, Degreasers, PVC, Rubber and Lubricants. The high bio-derived content makes EPOXOL® EMS an excellent choice for renewable formulations.

EPOXOL® RD181 is a low viscosity, 100% solids non-hazardous reactive epoxy diluent produced from a bio-based, renewable resource. It is a clear, low-viscosity liquid with mild odor. This product is used to reduce viscosity of epoxy resins and enhance performance properties.
