- Viscosity Reduction of a BisA Epoxy Resin
EPOXOL® RD181 provides efficient viscosity reduction in conventional bisphenol A, bisphenol F, and Novolac based epoxy resins. The exceptionally low hazard profile of EPOXOL® RD181 compared to the aliphatic monoglycidyl ethers commonly used for this purpose makes EPOXOL® RD181 a lower health risk to formulators, production personnel and applicators. EPOXOL® RD181 is suitable for use in products such as adhesives, floor coatings, marine and maintenance coatings.
The long chain aliphatic structure improves impact, flexibility and abrasion resistance of the epoxy film.
