Coatings & Inks:
ADD-3572 promotes superior wetting for aqueous coatings, inks and adhesives applied to low energy substrates such as polyester, vinyl, and wax coated paper. Low concentrations reduce the surface tension resulting in improved adhesion, excellent flow and leveling. It prevents pinholes and crawling in critical applications such as tapes, and pressure sensitive adhesives. The use of ADD-3572 gives the following advantages:
• Excellent anti-cratering behavior
• Better substrate wetting
• Improved leveling
• No inter-coat adhesion problems in multi-layer applications
ADD-3572 is recommended for use in all kinds of water-based coatings.
ADD-3572 can be added best after processing.
