- Product Application and Removal
Application / Tools: Spatula
Cleaning tools: Water, while the product is still fresh
Product Removal: Water, while the product is still fresh
- Limitation of Use
Apply on clean surfaces with no detaching parts. Avoid contact of the product on painted surfaces. Always use adequate individual protection systems.
- Preparation of the Support
Always check the humidity of the substrate with suitable tools. The substrate to be treated must be compact, dry, free of detaching parts and compliant with DIN 18356. Before applying, make sure there is an adequate vapor barrier. Always check the humidity of the substrate with suitable tools. The humidity measurement of the substrate must be done in depth (approx. 2-3 cm) with a hygrometer with carbide vials. Do not lay on screeds that are not protected from possible rising damp (always interpose an adequate vapor-tight sheath). Lean or dusting cementitious substrates must be consolidated with our PRIMER K31, which favors perfect adhesion of the adhesive (see technical data sheet) and made flat with the use of self-leveling products such as our PAVILAST R. Do not install in rooms that are not equipped with doors or windows. Do not install if the walls and ceilings of the room are not completely dry.
- Application
Ambient the product before use. Spread the adhesive only on the substrate using a special and appropriate notched trowel. Lay the covering by exerting uniform pressure on the entire surface in order to release any air bubbles. Before gluing, always check the humidity of the screed which must be <2% (<0.5% anhydrite (calcium sulfate)). Ambient temperature from 15 to 30 ° C, relative humidity not higher than 75%. Floors and coverings must be removed from their packaging a few hours before installation to help acclimatize them. Always use adequate individual protection systems.
