- Recommendation for Use
Protect from frost Rigid materials, especially in the winter period, must be laid out in the installation rooms and left to rest in order to avoid any deformation from the warehouse. Ambient the product at 20°C before application. Always use adequate personal protection systems.
- Area of Application
- Absorbent surfaces
- On raised floors of all kinds
- Suitable for heated substrates
- Product Application and Removal
Application / Tools: Spatula
Product Removal: Water, while the product is still fresh
- Preparation of the Support
Always check the humidity of the substrate with suitable tools. The humidity measurement of the substrate must be done in depth (approx. 2-3 cm) with a hygrometer with carbide vials in order to exclude the possible presence of highly hygroscopic substances (such as pumice, vermiculite), which can release moisture in they contained with consequent swelling of the floor. Do not lay on screeds that are not protected from possible rising damp (always interpose an adequate vapor-tight sheath). Lean or dusty cementitious substrates must be consolidated with our PRIMER K31, which favor perfect adhesion of the adhesive (see technical data sheet). Do not install in rooms that are not equipped with doors or windows. Do not install if the walls and ceilings of the room are not completely dry.
- Application
Ambient the product before use. Spread the adhesive only on the substrate using a special notched trowel or roller, wait (depending on the absorbency of the laying surface and the climatic conditions of the environment) for the adhesive to partially dry in order to avoid the tenacious bonding of the tiles with absorbent back. Lay the covering by exerting uniform pressure on the entire surface in order to release any air bubbles (possibly with a suitable roller). Before gluing, always check the humidity of the screed which must be <2% (<0.5% anhydrite (calcium sulfate)). Ambient temperature from 10 to 30°C, relative humidity not higher than 75%.
