- For sealing old wooden floors that are not very stable or partially unglued
- Do Not Use
- On radiant screeds
- On non-absorbent substrates (glass, marble, tiles, etc.)
- In renovations where there is the presence of people sensitive to solvents
- On surfaces subject to continuous rising damp and which are not protected by a vapor barrier
- On screeds that contain materials that can melt or weaken in contact with the solvent
- Product Application and Removal
Application / Tools: Roller, brush
Cleaning tools: Solvent GR7, when the product is still fresh
Product Removal: Solvent GR7, when the product is still fresh
- Limitation of Use
- Flammable
- Ventilate the room during use and during the hardening phase
- Compatible with our two-component epoxy-polyurethane, polyurethane or singlecomponent silane adhesives
- Always use adequate personal protection systems
- Preparation of the Support
Always check the humidity of the substrate with suitable tools. The substrate to be treated must be compact and free of detaching parts and compliant with DIN 18356. Any surface defects, such as cracks or cracks, must be treated by mixing fine sand (not marine) with PRIMER PA 35 until a homogeneous mortar is obtained to avoid infiltration or stagnation of product in the cavity with the risk of damaging any pipes. Substrates with a poorly absorbent layer must be roughened (by sanding) and carefully vacuumed to allow the product to penetrate. Before applying, make sure there is an adequate vapor barrier.
- Application
Ambient and shake the product thoroughly before use. Apply at an ambient temperature between 10 ° C and 30 ° C with air humidity> 40% (different conditions can lead to a considerable variation in drying times with not excellent results). Ventilate the room during use and during the hardening phase.
As a surface consolidator: Apply a coat of PA 35 primer in a dilution ratio 2: 1 with the special diluent D40 respecting the yield of about 150-200 (g / m2).
As a deep consolidator: Apply a coat of PA 35 primer in a 1: 1 dilution ratio with the special diluent D40. After dry primer (about 4 hours) apply a second coat of primer within 12 hours in a dilution ratio 2: 1 respecting the overall yield of about 300 (g / m2).
As a barrier against residual moisture: Apply a coat of PA 35 primer in a 1: 1 dilution ratio with the special diluent D40. After dry primer (about 4 hours) apply a second coat of primer within 12 hours undiluted respecting the overall yield of about 300 (g / m2). When the product is still fresh, remove any primer residues using a cloth soaked in our SOLVENT GR7. After curing, primer PA 35 can only be removed mechanically. To promote greater adhesion of the adhesives, spread a layer of fine and dry sand (not marine) on the last coat of primer while the product is still fresh. Glue using exclusively our two-component epoxy-polyurethane, polyurethane or single-component silane adhesives.
