    Application

ADK 4-NN is recommended for fine and medium grit applications that require either good conformability such as pump sleeves and draw sanders or resistance to thermal breakdown which can occur on stroke and edge sanders. ADK 4-NN can be used with glue bond, resin/glue, and full resin coated abrasives for narrow and wide belts. All Adirondack woven products have been engineered to supply maximum strength in the belt direction without the additional thickness of traditional square weave fabrics. These thin oriented fabrics are also specially weave set to stabilize the tape for easier handling and processing.

    Processing

Woven ADK tapes are advantageously used in a two-way adhesive application using contact bonding under pressure with heat activation.
