    Application

ADK 5-P is recommended for applications that require high flexibility and is particularly well suited for very narrow belts under 1”. In addition, ADK 5-P can be used with glue bond, resin/glue, full resin and waterproof coated abrasives for narrow and wide belts. ADK 5-P is a specially designed square weave fabric with low stretch characteristics. This feature allows ADK 5-P to be pulled through loop type knife coaters without the stretching and distortion commonly found with unbalanced woven tape constructions. ADK 5-P has also been saturated with our exclusive primer system for increased adhesion.

    Processing

Woven ADK tapes are advantageously used in a two-way adhesive application using contact bonding under pressure with heat activation.
