Mode of treatment (Professional users)
The treatment is effected by surface application (pulverization low pressure (max. 5 bars)) or deep injection (always associated with a surface treatment). The effect of the treatment is immediate and is optimal during the fixation stage. The wood aspect is not affected by the application of product XILIX 3000 P. Compatible with all types of finishes. Well homogenizes the product before application.
Preventive treatment
Application by pulverization low pressure (max. 5 bars), in 1 layer, insisting on castrated parts, assemblies and supports. Consommation = o o 57 ml / m² in 1 layer to obtain an insecticidal efficacy against xylophagous and termite insect larvae 100 ml / m² in 1 layer to obtain an insecticidal efficacy against xylophagous larvae and termite insects, as well as an efficacy against fungi of cubic and fibrous mosses.
Curative treatment
Only for the wood placed inside. Application
- For the needy wood (essentially strong sections wood - Always consult the opinion of an expert before proceeding to an injection operation): Injection (3 injections, given in quinconce, by linear meter, 20 ml of product / puit, 9 puits / m²) then pulverization to low pressure (max. 5 bars), in 2 spaces spaced 15-30min, insisting on the enclosed parties, assemblies and the appuis. Efficacy of fungicides, insecticides, anti-termites
Preventive efficacy against basidiomycetes (cubic and fibrous furry), xylophagous larval insects (capricorns of houses, lyctus, vrillettes) and termites. Curative efficacy against xylophageal larval insects (capricorns, vrillettes, lyctus) and termites.
The performances of the XILIX 3000 P product were established: - on the one hand, in accordance with standard EN599 (Sustainability of wood: Criteria for performance of preventive products for preservation of wood from biological essays, as defined in standard EN335, from standardized essays on preventive efficacy:
- EN46 against capricorns,
- EN118 against termites
- EN113 against basidiomycetes
and, on the other hand, in accordance with the standard EN14128 (Durability of wood: Criteria for performance of curative products for preservation of wood from biological essays), from standardized essays on curative efficiency:
- EN1390 against capricorns
- EN370 against the vrillettes
The preventive efficiency checks were carried out after the accelerated aging test EN73 (evaporation test) and / or EN84 (evaporation test) in order to guarantee the durability of the product applied XILIX 3000 P.
- Secure Fixation
24 to 48 hours in a ventilated atmosphere (depending on the nature of the wood, its absorption capacity and atmospheric conditions). In order to facilitate the passage, proceed to a sufficient ventilation of the treatment place.
Safety & Health
- User Security
Always respect the hygienic standard precautions. Avoid all contact with skin, eggs and clothing. Do not inhale vapors or brouillard containing the product. Do not eat, do not drink, do not smoke during work. Mandatory EPI port: latex gloves, neoprene, or nitrile for the men; cocktails, cartouche mask, helmet, mask, face screen for head, face and eyes; work clothes, work shoes or boots for the rest of the body.
Employment Precautions
The humidity of the wood at the time of treatment should be <25%. Do not treat the wood gel. Do not apply the product to the wood that may come into contact with the food supplements. Make a preliminary essay on the exotic or rich woods in tannin. The extremities and cups must be treated to guarantee the effectiveness of the treatment. Withdraw the wood in case of puncture, coupe, etc.
- Environment
Product residues, packaging and any other waste related to treatment must be considered as dangerous waste, under the sole responsibility of the detainee of that waste, and treated in specialized centers in accordance with regulations. The losses due to the application of the product must be recovered in view of their rehabilitation or elimination. Construction site waste must be transported in closed or bagged vehicles. For the duration of the wood treatment period, it is necessary to ensure that no constituent of the product is exposed in the sun. Do not eat the residue in the gills and water courses. All species of chauves-souris and martinets being protected, please note that they are not exposed to this product at the time of application. Do not treat the ruffles.
