Advanced Petrochemical Company (previously Advanced Polypropylene) "Advanced" is a Saudi Joint Stock Company, established in October 2005, with paid capital of SR1,639,950,000. The company has been listed in Saudi Stock Market since 2007.

The company was initially launched by National Polypropylene Limited, jointly owned by Mr. Khalifa Al Mulhim, the chief executive officer of Advanced, and Mr. Monther Laheeq, who negotiated all the main deals related to the project, either before or after the establishment of Advanced Petrochemical. Currently, National Polypropylene Limited controls 7.9% of Advanced Petrochemical.

Advanced Petrochemical started the construction of its plants in May 2005. The company produces 455,000 tons per year of propylene and 450,000 tons per year of polypropylene from its production facility located in Jubail Industrial City, in the Eastern coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company started the commercial production from its polypropylene facility on 3rd March 2008.

Since its inception, the company has established itself as one of the major players in the petrochemical industry, not only in the Kingdom Saudi Arabia but also across the Middle East and North Africa region, delivering high quality of products, and using cutting edge technologies.

Advanced-PP 1101P is a polypropylene homopolymer fiber grade characterized by medium flowability, medium molecular weight distribution and medium crystallinity providing excellent and consistent process and product behavior. Advanced-PP 1101P is particularly suitable for the production of staple fiber, bulked continuous filaments (BCF), continuous filaments (CF). The product is comprised of an advanced pheno free stabilizer package providing superior gasfading resistance and inherent basic UV-stability

Advanced-PP 1102L is a polypropylene homopolymer with general extrusion additivation with low water carry over. It is specificially suited for Raffia & Thermoforming Applications.

Advanced-PP 1128 N is a polypropylene homopolymer & suited for cast film application. It contains slip & anti blocking agents.

Advanced-PP 1101S is a polypropylene homopolymer fiber grade characterized by high flowability, medium molecular weight distribution. Advanced-PP 1101 S is particularly suitable for the production of continuous filaments (CF) and bulked continuous filaments (BCF) with phenol free anti gas fading stablization &amp; inherent UV stability.

Advanced-PP 1101SC is a polypropylene homopolymer fiber grade characterized by very high flowability, very narrow molecular weight distribution and medium crystallinity providing excellent and consistent process and product behavior.Advanced-PP 1101 SC is especially suitable for the production fine titer spunbond nonwovens at high speed production lines used for hygiene application. The product comprises an Advanced-PP phenol free stabilizer package providing high gasfading resistance and inherent basic UV-stability.

Advanced-PP 1100N is a medium flow polypropylene homopolymer for general injection molding applications.

Advanced-PP 1100N

Advanced-PP 1104K is a polypropylene homopolymer with medium molecular weight distribution (MWD) and narrow MFR range. Main application is OPP core layers and high performance weaving tapes.eg for carpet backing. The product is free from metal stearates and functional additives like slip agents and is therefore in particular suitable for metallisable BOPP film and provides low water-carry over.

Advanced-PP 1102LQ is a polypropylene homopolymer with narrow MFR and with very low water carry over properties. It is specificially designed for stretched tape yarn, carpet backing and artificial grass. Also suited for Raffia & Thermoforming Applications.
