Applications
  • LUMOROL K 5019 is a combination of mild anionic surfactants for the application in Personal Care products. It shows good foaming properties and mildness to the skin. It is designed for the formulation of cosmetic products, such as bath additives, shower gels, facial wash for sensitive skin or kids shampoos, where degreasing of the skin should be avoided. LUMOROL K 5019 is particularly recommended for formulations which do not contain ether sulfate.
  • LUMOROL K 5019 can be worked in the cold, Diluted solutions can be easily thickened with special [ally alcohol ethoxylates (OXETAL VD types) in combination with sodium chloride.
  • LUMOROL K 5019 has little solubility for fats and oils. In consequence, cloudiness may occur when adding perfumes. In this case we recommend the use of a solubilizer such as MULSIFAN RT 203/80 and MULSIFAN RT 141.
