- Avocado is a pear shaped fruit, known for its miraculous health and beauty benefits all over the world. Oil is obtained by pressing dehydrated, sliced avocados of Persea gratissima. Avocado oil is rich in triglycerides of oleic acid and contains lesser amounts of palmitic, linoleum, and palmitoleic acids. It is absorbed quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling.
