"The Aerovac brand of process materials was established in Europe during the 1970s. In 1998 Umeco, a distribution company headquartered in the UK, acquired Aerovac. In 2000 Umeco acquired Richmond and merged the two companies together under the name Richmond Aerovac in North America. Richmond Aerovac was a leading brand of process materials, and many current aerospace specifications still reference Aerovac, Richmond and Richmond Aerovac products. We are now thrilled to reintroduce the iconic Aerovac name globally, along with an updated look to the same great brand and products.
