Application

Substrate: Pretreated aluminum, steel and molded plastics. Wipe free of oil, dust and mold release solutions.

Catalyzation: 3 to 1 by volume with 95C-F005 Activator

Reduction: No reduction required.

Potlife: 30-60 minutes (catalyzed)

Equipment: Mix by hand or 2 component proportion pump. All polyurethane systems, whether single or multi-component, are sensitive to moisture and will gel or begin to cure if permitted to come into contact with humid air or water. This includes the exposure of the coating in open containers or contact with moisture in fluid and air lines. Air compressors should be equipped with moisture traps, driers, and filters to ensure that the coating does not "see" moist air. In this way, damage to equipment can be avoided.

Cure:
Air Dry: Print Free: 30-90 minutes
Through Cure: 24 hrs.
Force dry: Flash 20’
Bake 20’ @ 175°F.

Dry Film Thickness: 1.5 ± .25 mils

Wash Thinner: Ketones are most effective. Do not use aliphatics or alcohols.

Clean Up: After shutdown or before a long delay, Prompt Clean Up Of All Equipment Is Essential, If Equipment Damage Is To Be Avoided. This applies to pots, lines, hoses and guns. Use wash thinners recommended above.

Safety & Health

Precautions

Safe Handling: When this product has been combined with our urethane curing agent, aliphatic and/or aromatic polyisocyanates then are present, which give off harmful vapors of isocyanates (hazardous materials) when sprayed. Do not use if you have chronic (long-term) lung or breathing problems, or if you have ever had a reaction to isocyanates. Use only with adequate ventilation. Where overspray is present, a positive-pressure, airsupplied respirator (TC-19C NIOSH/MESA) is recommended. If not available, use a vapor/particulate respirator that respirator supplier recommends as effective for isocyanate vapors and mists, such as a NIOSH TC-23C type. Refer to our Data Sheet "Safety in the Handling and Use of Uthanes," and to the Material Safety Data Sheet, available upon request.

First Aid: If affected by inhalation of vapor or spray mist, remove to fresh air. If breathing difficulty persists or occurs later, consult a physician and have label information available. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes; call a physician. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
