Product Properties

AFCONA-4000 is a result of an innovative concept of polyurethane dispersants. This innovative technology is based on an own new developed intermediate monomer and own new developed anchoring groups. AFCONA – 4000 is higher molecular weight version of AFCONA – 4200.

AFCONA – 4000 has below special properties and recommended in below systems.
1) Beside the good compatibility property as AFCONA 4200, AFCONA – 4000 have higher molecular weight and the performance in ordinary systems like Polyurethane, epoxy, baking paint and etc is better than AFCONA – 4200.
2) AFCONA – 4000 can be used to substitute our previous version of Polyurethane dispersant, such as, AFCONA – 4046, AFCONA – 4047 and AFCONA – 4050. However a real substitute is our

AFCONA – 4077. AFCONA – 4000 is recommended:
1) Thermoplastic acrylic
2) CAB containing system
3) Polyurethane
4) Baking paint that based on alkyd, acrylic and saturated polyester.
Note: AFCONA – 4000 will become slightly hazy at temperature below 5℃. Even at -15℃ the slight haze stay the same. This will not influence the dispersing quality.
