Calculation method for the required amount of AFCONA-4063 on pigment:
- TiO2 : 2 - 3%
- Other inorganic pigments : 2 - 4%
- Organic pigments : 20 - 40%
- Carbon blacks : 20 - 60%
- Incorporation
AFCONA-4063 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.

AFCONA-4063 is an effective polymeric dispersant for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments as well as carbon blacks. It has very good stability performance, through effective steric hindrance, on all type of pigments especially in organic red, yellow and violet pigments.
This results in:- improved gloss and DOI
- reduced flooding problems
- higher color strength
- lower viscosity
AFCONA – 4063 has below special properties and recommended in below systems:
1) AFCONA – 4063 has very good viscosity reduction especially in carbon black.
2) AFCONA – 4063 is used in all industrial for all pigments. It mainly used in Polyurethane, Epoxy, NC, and general industrial baking paints.
3) AFCONA – 4063 also can be used as dispersant in preparation of universal pigment concentrates. We recommend a combination with the universal resin, AFCONA – 1102.
Note: AFCONA – 4063 will become slightly hazy at temperature 5°C and below, but this will not influent the quality

AFCONA-4063 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
