- AFCONA-4070 is a very effective polymeric dispersant for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments as well as carbon blacks. It has very good stability performance, through effective steric hindrance, on all type of pigments

improved gloss and DOI
reduced flooding problems
higher color strength
lower viscosity
increased jetness of high channel carbon black - AFCONA – 4070 has below special properties and recommended in below systems:
1) AFCONA-4070 is an improved version of AFCONA-4060. It gives better pigment stability performance. Furthermore, the viscosity depressing property of AFCONA – 4070 is very strong
2) AFCONA-4070 is recommended for all baking paints especially for coil coatings. It also can be used for other resin systems as long as it is compatible.
3) AFCONA – 4070 has crystallization at low temperature, below 15° C. Thus an improve version, AFCONA – 4071, is must better in term of anti-crystallization, pigment stability and compatibility with CAB.
4) After the introduction of AFCONA – 4071, this is not our main recommended product.
Note: AFCONA – 4070 will start crystallization at temperatures below 15° C.

Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment:
TiO2 : 2 - 3%
Other inorganic pigments : 2 - 4%
Organic pigments : 20 - 40%
Carbon blacks : 20 - 60%Incorporation
AFCONA-4070 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.

AFCONA-4070 should be stored in a cool dry place, preferably at room temperature.
When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container
