- AFCONA-4077 is a result of an innovative concept of polyurethane dispersants. This innovative technology is based on an own new developed intermediate monomer and own new developed anchoring groups.
- AFCONA – 4077 is an improved version of AFCONA – 4046 and AFCONA - 4050. AFCONA-4077 could be used as a direct substitute for AFCONA-4046 and AFCONA-4050.
- Comparing to AFCONA – 4046 and AFCONA - 4050, it has below special and improved properties:
1) AFCONA – 4077 has better performance in dispersing carbon blacks and organic pigments.
2) AFCONA – 4077 will not cause crystallization at low temperature. Even at 15° C below zero (-15° C) only slight haziness will be observed.
3) Better compatibility with CAB, thermoplastic acrylics and NC combinations.
4) Overall pigment stability and performance is better in terms of tinting strength and color brightness.
5) A direct substitute to AFCONA – 4046 and AFCONA - 4050
Note:
1) AFCONA – 4077 will become slightly hazy at temperatures below 5° C. This will not influence the quality.
2) There may be some slight to heavy thixotropic behavior depending of time and temperature of storage. This is due to the catalyst that we use during polymerization. But this will not influence the overall performance of AFCONA – 4077.

Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment:
TiO2 :2 - 3%
Other inorganic pigments :2 - 4%
Organic pigments :20 - 40%
Carbon blacks :20 - 60%Incorporation
AFCONA-4077 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.

AFCONA-4077 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
