- AFCONA-4700 is an effective polymeric dispersant based on AFCONA CRP technology. It has excellent performances in stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments. It has very good stability performance in carbon black dispersion where a very high jetness can be achieved. In metallic systems, it gives a golden undertone for high channel black dispersion.
- This results in:
- improved gloss and DOI
- reduced flooding problems
- higher color strength
- lower viscosity - AFCONA – 4700 has below special properties and recommended in below systems:
1) AFCONA – 4700 has very good viscosity reduction in all pigments.
2) AFCONA – 4700 increase tremendously the jetness blue undertone of a high channel black.
3) In overall, AFCONA – 4700 gives better transparency for all organic pigments (excluding the good hiding pigments).
4) AFCONA – 4700 can be used in all solvents systems except systems that used white spirit or low aromatic hydrocarbon as solvent.

Calculation method for the required amount of
active ingredient on pigment:
TiO2 : 2 - 3%
Other inorganic pigments : 2 - 4%
Organic pigments : 20 - 40%
Carbon blacks : 20 - 60%Incorporation
AFCONA-4700 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.

AFCONA-4700 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
