Features & Benefits
- Product Properties
- AFCONA-5030 is an additive for pigment dispersion. It reduces the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle. It stabilizes the pigments through electrical charge repulsion forces
- AFCONA – 5030 has below special properties and recommended in below systems:
1) AFCONA – 5030 is a very compatible polymer. It can be used in all resin systems, ranging from none polar to high polar systems
2) It recommended for artificial leather, PU Shoe sole, polyurethane, alkyd and polyamide system for printing ink systems.
3) Due to the high amine value, AFCONA – 5030 cannot be use in system where amine sensitive system such as epoxy and aromatic cure polyurethanes. In epoxy system, it only can be use if the pigment dispersion is done in the amine part.
Note: AFCONA – 5030 will become slightly hazy at temperatures below 5° C. This will not influence the quality.
