AFCONA-5207 is in overall a good conventional wetting and dispersing additive. It is a very economical dispersant with good performance in pigment stabilizing. However, AFCONA – 5280 will perform better in all aspects and is more close to our high molecular weight dispersants than AFCONA – 5207.
AFCONA – 5207 has below special properties and recommended in below systems:
1) AFCONA-5207 is a very good wetting and dispersing agent for air drying alkyds. It can stabilize most of the pigments that commonly used in these systems.
2) AFCONA – 5207 also proved to be a good dispersing agent for printing ink systems, oil based as well as solvent-based.
3) AFCONA – 5207 also can be used in thermoplastic acrylics, NC combinations, acid curing systems and baking paints.
4) If higher performances are needed, AFCONA – 5280 is recommended. This gives better results in all aspects compared to AFCONA – 5207.
Note: AFCONA – 5207 will become slightly hazy at temperatures below 5° C. This will not influence the quality.

- Storage Condition
AFCONA-5207 should be stored in a cool and dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up for 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
