AFRUSE S.L. Refined walnut oil (NOR)

Afruse Refined Walnut Oil is obtained by pressing (by expeller or continuous press) the walnut and due to the refining process to which it is subjected, it lacks taste and aroma. It is an oil that is also very rich in vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids and is therefore an excellent anti-cholesterol element. Since ancient times, it has been used as an intestinal antiparasitic and once rancid, it has been used as a purgative. It is also used as a drying agent in paint.

    The nut is the fruit of the walnut tree. This tree native to central Asia has remarkable healing properties in both its leaves and its fruits. Their size can exceed 30 meters and they can live for more than 100 years. Its fruit is very nutritious and healthy due to the composition of its fats. It contributes to the formation of tissues, especially in the growing season. It also has vitamins A and E (both antioxidants). The nut also has a high content of minerals, highlighting potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, copper and zinc. They contain a high degree of lipids, of which 41% corresponds to polysaturated fatty acids. Within these we can highlight linoleic acid (also called Omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (also called Omega-3).
