Our history dates back to 1984. Afruse was founded as a family business by Jaume Buqueras Boquera. Since then, we have worked to improve our products and strengthen our experience in the sector. In addition to quality results in our oils, this has given us the stable trust of a wide portfolio of customers who are loyal to our products. It was in 1997 when we decided to start up our own vegetable oil refinery, which allows us to treat not only our own oils (controlling the manufacturing process from start to finish), but also those not produced by us and that our customers bring us. Throughout all this time, we have been able to progressively adapt to the new technological advances that were being incorporated into the oil manufacturing sector. Thus, our work becomes much simpler, more exact, strict and of quality in terms of the final product and the strict controls of all processes.

Afruse Defatted Organic Almond Flour can be a good alternative for people who, for various reasons, do not want or cannot take wheat flour. Our low fat almond flour is made from ground almonds with 80% of the fat removed by cold pressing. It is very versatile and can be used in baking and cooking as a healthy alternative.

AFRUSE S.L. Defatted organic almond flour

Afruse Virgin Almond Oil is obtained by cold pressing the fruit of almonds . It is a smooth, pale-colored oil that retains the characteristic aroma and flavor of almonds. It is used as a massage oil and as a carrier in essential oils for aromatherapy. It can be used in any cosmetic or pharmaceutical product as an active ingredient or as a carrier in the oily phase, without any proportion limit. Almond oil is extremely popular, thanks to the rich concentration of essential fatty acids (oleic and linoleic). Rich in vitamins A and E, sweet almond oil also helps to soften and invigorate dry and irritated skin.

AFRUSE S.L. Virgin almond oil (AMV)

Afruse Organic Almond Oil is a natural product obtained from the cold pressing of the fruit of the almond tree, from the Rosaceae family, which has its origin in the regions of Central Asia, where it has been cultivated for thousands of years. Almonds are known for their great nutritional value due to their high content of vitamins A, B and E, and rich in protein and minerals. Sweet almond oil is made up of monounsaturated fats, oleic acid and linoleic acids such as omega 3 and 6. It also contains very beneficial antioxidants and essential minerals. Its color is slightly golden and it does not have a strong aroma, but a sweet one.

Arfuse Virgin Hazelnut Oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of Corylus avellana, a tree from the Betulaceae family. It contains protective, moisturizing and regulating substances for the sebaceous glands, making it very suitable for the care of oily skin, seborrheic dermatitis or acne. Its particularly remarkable property of penetration makes it an excellent vehicle for essential oils, promoting rapid action when necessary, which makes it advisable in certain treatments. Its active components are essential oil, polyphenols, flavonoids, tannins and myricitroside (vitamin P).

Arfuse Refined Almond Oil is obtained by pressing (by expeller or continuous press) the almond. It is pale yellow in color and due to the refining process to which it is subjected, it lacks taste and aroma. Sweet almond oil is the first choice that many aromatherapists make when choosing a vegetable carrier oil, as it is suitable for all skin types. The almond is obtained from the almond tree, of the Rosaceae family. In winter is when this tree gives its white or pink flowers. This happens before the leaves are born. The fruit that contains the seed that we call almonds has a maturation process that lasts from 7 to 9 months. The sweet almond contains a large amount of fixed oil, gum and mucilage. It is very nutritious and has a pleasant taste.

Afruse Refined Walnut Oil is obtained by pressing (by expeller or continuous press) the walnut and due to the refining process to which it is subjected, it lacks taste and aroma. It is an oil that is also very rich in vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids and is therefore an excellent anti-cholesterol element. Since ancient times, it has been used as an intestinal antiparasitic and once rancid, it has been used as a purgative. It is also used as a drying agent in paint.

AFRUSE S.L. Refined walnut oil (NOR)

Afruse Defatted Almond Flour is the by-product obtained from cold extraction by hydraulic press. It is extracted from the cofines in large pieces. This cake is ground to obtain a thick flour to suit the client. Due to the good quality of the raw material used, this defatted flour is used above all in confectionery or pastries and in dietary products, since it has exactly the same characteristics as the original dried fruit flour, but with a minimum fat content.
