About Us

Healthy, species-appropriate, natural - words that we want to fill with life. They drive us every day. A horse is so much more than just a pet. It is a family member, a friend, a companion. Its health is our responsibility. In order to meet these requirements, we dedicate ourselves, with conviction and greatest care, to development, production and distribution of best basic feed and supplementary feed, made of meadow grasses and herbs of the Bavarian Alpine foothills. The company founder Jakob Berger's strong affinity to nature is carried on by the Berger family and all employees. Dealing correctly with nature and the animal's welfare has been our priority for decades. We buy from farms (and drying cooperatives) located in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps for the manufacture of our products. This allow us close cooperation with the farmers with whom we have quality agreements.

Agrobs GMBH Oatmeal Sports Muesli feed is designed for horses used in sport and breeding. With a perfectly balanced combination of natural energy and protein sources to meet the high requirements of the modern sport horse: rich in metabolisable energy and with high acceptance. Haferwiese Sportmüsli is a high-energy, high-structure muesli feed with a balanced starch content. It provides the sport horse with optimum energy but is gentle on the digestive tract. Its native essential amino acids support the development of powerful muscle needed for sport.

Horse Alpin® Senior contains easily digestible proteins and amino acids for healthy muscle metabolism and supports muscle maintenance in older horses. Hydrothermally processed flakes made of maize and barley provide the horse with extra energy. Cold-pressed linseed cake is also high in omega-3 fatty acids (alpha-Linoleic acid) as well as important mucilaginous substances and bulking agents substances for a healthy gastrointestinal tract. Gently dried carrot chips provide natural beta-Carotene – the precursor to vitamin A – and others important trace elements. Its optimum protein-energy ratio supports metabolism for healthy feed digestion.

The high fiber in Sensitiv Plus ensures an optimum supply of roughage and aids digestion, promoting a healthy balance of intestinal flora in animals with digestive problems. Sensitiv Plus is extremely low in protein, making it a fitting alternative to base feed or crib fodder, especially for animals with kidney problems or susceptibility to kidney stones. The fields are under constant supervision and are harvested at the right time of maturation. This ensures low protein and a high raw fiber content for optimum horse nutrition. PRE ALPIN® WIESENCOBS® can alternatively also be used as single concentrated feed or as a supplement to the grain ration. In spite of the low starch content, the high energy density provides more stamina and power, also for sports.

Agrobs GMBH Naturmix is a high-quality hay or base feed should always serve as the basis for our pets’ diets. You should refrain from using a cereal-based compound feed as a feed supplement, as this does not correspond to the natural diet of the animals and may make them ill. Foods corresponding to the natural diets of chinchillas and degus are essential for their proper nutrition. These consist of high-fiber plants that include dried grasses and herbs, leaves, blossoms, roots and barks.
