Applications & Uses

Directions for Dilution

DILUTE APPLICATION: Ground application: Apply specifi ed rate in 20-60 gallons of water per acre. Orchard application: Apply specifi ed rates in 100-800 gallons of water per acre.

AIR APPLICATION: Apply specifi ed rate in 5-20 gallons of water per acre. Orchard rates should not be applied in less than 10 gallons of water per acre.

CONCENTRATE APPLICATION: Ground application: Apply specifi ed rate in not less than 5 gallons of water per acre. Orchard application: Apply specifi ed rate in 20–100 gallons of water per acre.

NOTE: The per acre rate of this product for concentrate and aerial application is based upon a dilute ground application with conventional equipment for orchards applying 100 to 800 gallons per acre. If directions call for 1 lb. of product per 100 gallons of water, this amounts to 1-8 lbs. per acre when applied dilute, concentrate or aerial.

Environmental Hazards

This pesticide is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates and may contaminate water through runoff. This product has a potential for runoff for several months or more than application. Poorly draining soils and soils with shallow water tables are more prone to produce runoff that contains this product. Drift and runoff may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in water adjacent to treated areas. Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters or rinsate. Certain water conditions including low pH (<6.5), low dissolved organic carbon (DOC) levels (3.0 mg/L or lower) and “soft”waters (i.e., alkalinity less than 50 mg/L}, increases the potential acute toxicity to non-target aquatic organisms

PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.

PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.
