SAYTEX 8010ZD flame retardant pellets contain about 71% bromine and deliver the same outstanding flame retardant properties as SAYTEX 8010 powder at equivalent loadings, but with surprising improvements in melt flow, impact strength and elongation. The convenient pellet form minimizes dust for virtually zero environmental emissions, reduces waste disposal costs and simplifies manufacturing via faster changeovers and cleanup, which reduce operating costs. SAYTEX 8010ZD flame retardant is a non-deca-based flame retardant that is fully compliant with RoHS. It can be used to formulate products meeting European dioxin and PBDE regulations.

SAYTEX 8010ZD flame retardant can be used in a wide range of high-performance applications. It is particularly well-suited for styrenic polymers such as HIPS and ABS, engineering resins, polyolefins for wire and cable, and elastomers.
